Paris and "Villa Beaumarchais" .....great !! Nearby at Maraisquarter and also at the Opera Bastille. Closed to a Metrostation and not far away to Gare du Nord. The rooms are - for Paris and France - real great.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location in Le Marais. I found the hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was clean; however, the decor was dated and tired and the bathrooms need modernising. For a comfortable stay in a great location I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in Le Marais area, near to La Bastille and a couple of blocks away from a metro station. At first sight the hotel looks a little old and Im not talking about the decor but of the overall appearance of the hotel. But to my surprise the overall stay was good. The room was of a... More

Lovely stay! Great room, friendly staff, good location. Highly recommend this hotel. Didn't opt for the breakfast, but it looked good. If you're traveling to Paris, this hotel is definitely worth your time.

This hotel is more 2 star than 4 star. Had a feel of an outdated travel lodge!! It's in desperate need of renovating. The rooms are basic and dark and furniture on its last legs! My bathroom had cracked tiles, dirty grout and a broken sink plug. Shower was over the bath but with no screen meant you were in... More

It's very close to Gare du Nord, so it's great for anyone travelling with Eurostar. Our room was very small, not very well arranged. We had to jump over the desk in order to access the bed from one side. It was very quiet, service very discreet. Not a great design.

The location is very good. The young man at the check in desk was very, very helpful. I needed some assistance with an internet problem and he really went out of his way to help. They also got us a great van service back to the airport. On the downside, the breakfast was 14.50 euros and nothing special and there... More

This small and warm-hearted hotel is just off the busy Blvd Beaumarchais, in a quiet side street. Very helpful staff and good buffet breakfast. The wifi however, was very unreliable and kept dropping off, and reconnecting was a bother. Also having only two connections per username is a limitation. The wifi needs urgently to be upgraded to a fast and... More

Recently had a five-day stay at Villa Beaumarchais during a business visit to Paris. Location is centrally located near Bastille and Marais ... lots of restaurant and shopping amenities in the vicinity. The hotel staff were consistently attentive and professional ... housekeeping was happy to navigate my schedule which often included extended time working in the room. Hotel is well... More

This lovely hotel, perfectly placed to explore the Marais yet tucked away in a quiet location, has warm and welcoming staff with very good English and charming facilities. The décor is stylish, our room was excellent and the breakfast was good. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity and good access to the museums and sights we wanted to... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
