My fiancé and I stayed here for 14 days in July. Charming hotel , clean rooms, great breakfast.. The reception staff are English speaking and are very helpful..The beautiful maid in black uniform with her happy smile and greeting us.. The breakfast staff were lovely and I enjoyed my chats with the cheerful Sri Lankan supervisor.. Sorry I can't remember... More

I've been here with my girlfriend some days ago. The hotel is located in a very nice position, just at the border between marais and bastille, and very close to the metro. The reception people are very nice, the structure is very warm and charmant. If you can i recommend an upgrade from the standard room, as the one that... More

How can a hotel that says it has air conditioning NOT have it for about six weeks in the middle of the summer? We showed up, having booked our stay through an online booking site, did some of the paperwork and then were informed about that little incidental detail that the air conditioning for the entire hotel broke down about... If you thought this was a 4* hotel you will be disappointed. We booked a 3 night stay for a 60th birthday treat. The air conditioning did not work, we were offered a fan which did not appear, and water - for which we were charged €13. The electric light switch in the bathroom was hanging off the wall which must... More

I stayed here and then visited on a few other evenings during a heatwave as other places have no cooling whatsoever even cafes or dining venues. At least the sunken garden / bar / breakfast room was a little cooler than most places. A tucked away sanctuary. The foyer and floor entrances were very charming and spacious, and the rooms... More

I liked this villa, it was fresh and well located, everything was pretty much handy , and the subway. We didn't eat breakfast there as bit expensive but hey it's Paris. The girls at the desk were really nice and friendly.

Stayed for 4 nights in December. The location is very good and the staff friendly. To be cautious the hotel must have had better days, it could really benefit from some make up. Would not recommend except for location.

I have stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. In the beginning I thought the hotel is safe and clean. Although I was facing the heatwave crossing whole europe and the hotel air conditioner doesnt work at all. But the hotel provided a fan at least. On the 4th morning, I hung the Do not disturb sign outside my room,... More

We have just stayed here for 3 nights. Excellent location and general facilities. The breakfast supervisor was charming and helpful and the reception team welcoming. Our room was (as they tell you) small but clean and well-appointed - but the air-conditioning frankly didn't work and the basin in the bathroom didn't drain. I was also surprised that although the bed... More

We stayed in the Villa Beaumarchais for five nights in a deluxe room. At first, I was a little disappointed in the appearance of the room, but it was clean and fairly spacious. The bathroom was very big with a spa bath and separate shower, so that compensated somewhat. All the staff were extremely pleasant and the receptionists all spoke... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
