This by no means a 4 star hotel, But I would stay here again, front desk and all other attendees were extremely warm and personal. A bit difficult to location on the map, off the main strip by a hair, but a very nice area of the city, close to Metro. I found myself around with no issues once we... More

I stayed there for a full week ( had to shorten my stay ) This hotel is nestled in the heart of Paris, 15 minute stroll from the BHV Marais, 20 from Beaubourg. Plenty of grocery stores around ( Carrefour, Franprix, leader ...), bars and restaurants. One thing makes the strength of this place: the staff One cannot find friendlier... More

I struggled to settle on an overall rating for this hotel, some aspects were easily five dots, whereas others much lower. My partner feels four is a good compromise, and I would like to have been able to rate more specifically on sleep quality and maintenance, as these paint a fairer picture. Overall, without some of the inconveniences the hotel... More

First things first, the Villa Beaumarchais is not a four star hotel. Having said that,it is ideally located (within walking distance of The Bastille and Notre Dame), quiet, the staff are very friendly and it is clean. The rooms are a bit tired, but they were cleaned each day of our stay and the bed was comfy. I would point... More

This place was very dingy and looked like it has not been updated since the 70's. While advertised as 4 star (and carrying a $200 eu per night price tag), it is at best a 2 star. Staff were quite friendly and helpful and if it is just a room for the night in 3 Arriv, a fairly cool section... More

Upon arrival we were welcomed warmly and given our room. As the room didn't seem to match with the details on my booking confirmation I politely queried it. I was informed that the room we had been given was a bigger room than the one we had booked (a junior suite in fact) but I had been hoping to get... More

I booked this hotel through Lastminute.com's secret hotels, and have to admit to being quite disappointed when the confirmation came through, as I'd already looked at the hotel's website and decided against it as it wasn't very stylish. Still, we had no choice but to check in. The location was great - really close to Bastille, Place des Vosges, St... More

What I liked: Large bed for European standard room. Courteous and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast served until 11. Well decorated hotel. The location is wonderful. Near but not on a main boulevard. Windows that open to a very quiet courtyard. The AC for our stay worked very well. As for things I didn't like, there isn't much to say. Once... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for 14 days in July. Charming hotel , clean rooms, great breakfast.. The reception staff are English speaking and are very helpful..The beautiful maid in black uniform with her happy smile and greeting us.. The breakfast staff were lovely and I enjoyed my chats with the cheerful Sri Lankan supervisor.. Sorry I can't remember... More

I've been here with my girlfriend some days ago. The hotel is located in a very nice position, just at the border between marais and bastille, and very close to the metro. The reception people are very nice, the structure is very warm and charmant. If you can i recommend an upgrade from the standard room, as the one that... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
