My last experience at Westin Paris was terrible. However, Renaissance Trocadero is amazing for a business hotel. Full marks for Renaissance sleep quality - I was shivering in Westin as it had poor temperature control. White tone throughout the property adds a nice luxurious feel even though it is a business hotel at best. haven't had time for breakfast though... More

Breakfast daily was a nice buffet with hot and cold items and was included in my room rate. First day room wasn't quite ready at 9:30am and I checked my luggage and had a nice breakfast. Room was ready shortly. On 3rd floor overlooking charming courtyard area with a glimpse of Eiffel Tower. Staff is very hospitable. Courtyard was lovely... More

This is a great location. Close to sights but on a relatively quiet street. Staff is quite nice. Helpful and positive. Courtyard is peaceful. Rooms, for Paris rooms, are quite nice in terms of size and amenities.

This is a great place and the location is not bad either. if you exit the Hotel and turn right you are very close to their Eiffel tower, turn left and it's a short walk to the are de triomphe. The rooms were very clean and the bed is very comfortable. Excellent friendly staff and a complimentary bottle of evian... More

Nice hotel, steps from the Trocadero Square and also the Victor Hugo Square. Good restaurants around us, and Bertillon ice-cream readily available! ;-) Good bus lines closeby (unfortunately, we were robbed at the Metro Station in St. Germain, and never took the metro again during this trip!) to go anywhere in the city. Their breakfast is fine, typical, and the... More

Second time (stayed last during MAY 2011) at the hotel. Before writing this review I took a few minutes to read my previous review- and I must say that the second time I enjoyed the hotel even more. Highs Great English speaking staff (important for my limited pigdin French) helpful and polite from the front desk to the concierge to... More

Firstly I want to say we have made a point of staying in these hotels all over the world as we have come to like their style, price and service. This particular hotel was a total disappointment. 5 stars is a bit of a joke I think. The room they put us in was tucked away in the attic. It... More

The Renaissance Le Parc Trocadero had a charming location and the room was comfortable for our stay. The area near the hotel is as charming as it gets. Quaint french bakeries filled with beautiful treats, cobblestone streets, fresh flower shops, and great cafe's for people watching. The hotel is conveniently located near the Victor Hugo train station ( 5-10 minute... More

The Renaissance Le Parc Trocadero had a nice location and the room was small but comfortable, clean for the most part and nice. I was surprised to see a little mold above the small shower considering this was newly renovated and upscale hotel but that was just minor. The rest of the room was very clean. We did not get... Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
