Amazing service here! The breakfast was spectacular and again the service in the restaurant was outstanding. The courtyard that the hotel surrounds is incredibly quiet for being right off a major street. The rooms are beautiful! Would stay here again!

We stayed in an executive suite as we were four and the room was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting restautants, etc. The G'Bar is an oasis and the perfect place to unwind and regroup after a day of shopping/aightseeing before heading out for the evening. I would definitely recommend it. The breakfast is lovely as well.... More

Arrived in Paris at 8am and was at the hotel by 9:15am via cab. Because it was Wednesday and rush hour, it took longer than expected. When we arrived, we asked if they had a room ready and they said no, but they were cleaning one now and it would be ready by 10:30. Nice! The gal at the front... More

My husband and I stayed here on our first trip to France to celebrate his 60th birthday and our 40th anniversary. We emailed the hotel that we would be celebrating these occasions and could we have a nice room with a view. We were told they would see what they could do - no promises. When we arrived they put... We received a great welcome from Llise and it was much appreciated after a long train journey from Munich. The welcome was warm and friendly and very informative about the hotel, local attractions and also some recommendations on what to see and do. We were then shown to our room which was also done by Llise. The room was possibly... More

Traveled with my son for just one night as we were at the Summer Olympics in London, we wanted a close location to the Eiffel Tower and I believe this was the best for the value. Nice restaurants walking distance, and great service inside the Hotel. With Gold Marriot rewards Breakfast and Internet at no cost. Excellent location, great service,... More

This was our first trip to Paris and while we are loyal to the Marriott brand, this was not a typical Marriott / Renaissance property -- it really felt like we were in a boutique hotel! Stylish, comfortable, high-tech, yet had some real Parisian charm -- we loved everything about it! Yes it's expensive, but it's Paris and it's worth... More

I only had one day in Paris so wanted to be located somewhere that would be an easy jumping off point for major sites. A 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower (where you can load boats or buses for city tours), this was perfect. It's also an easy walk to the Champs Elysees and the Arche de Triomphe. There... More

My family and I stayed here in 2011. Not a family friendly place and not a gracious group of people. And it's a long walk to the metro. The room were big and pretty, but this didn't make everything ok.

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
