Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and that says a lot as I travel 40% of the year. As mentioned the fact that the hotel is under renovation was never mentioned. But honestly I can get past that but what I can't deal with is a broken AC unit, mold in the bathroom and a smell that... More

Please take note of the comments about renovations, they start at 8 in the morning, despite a sign in reception saying they would start at 9. The room we had was not renovated, it was badly damaged with marks on the wall. The curtain was broken so didn't close properly. Luckily there is so much scaffolding outside that we were... More

We were not told that this Hotel was being Refurbished when we booked and the room we were given was on the ground floor where they steroidal the rubbish . they started work at 0630 till2000hrs. We were then moved to the 6th floor but that was no better as that had a scaffold outside where the workman were constantly... More

This hotel was excellent. Its under going renovations as others have mentioned. We got a renovated room and it was lovely. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good location for Metro and nice cafes.

The first thing to say is that when we visited this hotel for four nights in May, it was under serious renovation so this review is obviously a little jaded by that. We were woken almost every morning by very loud banging and men right outside our windows on scaffolding. Very very annoying and no mention of this at all... More

We booked this as a treat for our wedding anniversary and yes we had noted that there was renovation work going on and yes the staff were delightful doing their best in the circumstances BUT the hotel shows lovely pictures of big rooms, the restaurant with glass ceiling, the reception welcoming with wooden panels - well its nothing like that.... hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel room was large and comfortable. great breakfast. close to everything. would definitely return. it was like the Paris hotels you see in movies. the curtains were really thick and blocked out the light so we could sleep well

Stayed at this hotel in May 2015 for 3 nights with my boyfriend and his parents. We did not eat at the restaurant so my review will only be on the rooms and customer service. On arrival at the hotel the entire front of the hotel was obscured by scaffolding. It was a shame as I'm sure the building is... More

I booked this hotel for its charm and character - I loved the idea of a little balcony with flowers on display, gorgeous rooms with lead light - very French- really looking forward to the experience. As I was not aware of any Reno's when o made the booking you could imagine to my horror as I was walking down... More

The hotel is currently being upgraded and we got one of the newly renovated rooms on 5th floor. It was beautiful with all modern facilities you could want including tea and coffee making service, free wifi, and a fabulous shower room, good hairdryer and even a balcony. There is work in progress on other floors but we werent inconvenienced as... More
