I went with my wife for the bank holiday weekend in England and we were very happy with our choice. Hotel Pavillon Opera is well located, 15/20 minutes away (walking distance) from the Louvre (and from there Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee and the Arc of the Triumph are also 15/20 minutes away), 30 minutes from Moulin Rouge and the Basilica... This hotel is within an easy 20 min walk from the Gard Nord station when arriving by Eurostar and close by 2 different metro stations. It is easy to get to all the major attractions. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly and were able to provide a travel adaptor when I had forgotten mine. The breakfast was... More

We were there in June. Air conditioning didn't work the entire time. They double booked us for the room and breakfast charges for breakfasts that we didn't eat after the first experience.it has taken over 6 weeks and numerous calls and e-mails to correct "hopefully". Last communication to our AX vacation planner was that they finally found the double booking... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights/3 days and thought it was a very good hotel. Spent 3 days in Paris with a friend mainly sight-seeing so did not spend a whole lot of time in the hotel itself, but the hotel is situated perfectly for anyone that wants to do the main sights of Paris. It is well within... More

Excellent and friendly staff, great breakfast, very interesting and beautiful (very small though) "old school" elevator but.........as has been mentioned by many reviewers for some time now the air conditioning does not work at all and July in Paris this is absolutely necessary. The front desk were happy to provide an upright fan as they were to many other guests.... More

Nice hotel in good location. We stayed 3 nights. It is very close to two Metro stations and for us, a comfortable 30 minute walk down to Notre Location to Paris Gare du Nord Is very good...we came in from London on the Eurostar and were able to easily find our way using the Metro. Room was clean and quite... More

First visit to Paris. Trip was for 4 nights. No shuttle from hotel. Took “ taxi” (gentleman with jacket at airport) which turned out to be a private “taxi”. From Charles de Gaulle airport to hotel 60 euros, plenty traffic (mid week) took about 45 minutes. Metered taxi would cost more. The hotel is located on a small side street,... More

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for a city break in Paris, with 2 others. We got a room with 3 beds which was amazing. The room was huge - plenty of space to put 3 suitcases and fit us too. The beds were fairly comfortable (slightly on the firm side but I was fine with that). To... More

Our Situation: 3 students from London sharing a room at this hotel with 3 single beds. The room type was the Executive Room (although our booking said 'Comfort Room') on the 4th floor. We were in room 405. Location: The hotel is set on a quiet street about 20 minutes' walk from Gare du Nord and the River Seine. We... More

This was our first visit to Paris and we were initially looking for hotels such as Best Western, Marriott, Holiday Inn and Hilton. However I decided to take a chance and made reservations in this hotel. When researching the hotel there were a few red flags (specifically regarding the A/C service) The Hotel is located in a narrow street and... More
