Right now this place is a construction site - you are strongly advised - do not rent rooms until the work is finished. The owners really should not be renting out rooms whilst heavy construction work is taking place, dust abounds and the noise from the construction work is considerable. This is not a minor refurbishment, there is major structural work... This is a standard three starts hotel in the middle of Paris; small reception, small elevator, breakfast room, a mix of rooms of all sizes. The hotel is currently under refurbishment and my renovated room was larger than your standard Paris tiny room, modern, spotlessly clean and quiet. Decent sized bathroom, standard amenities (safe, hairdryer, average toiletries, desk, kettle) and... More

we stayed here in March/April and the noise from the work was unbearable. We had workman standing right out side our room windows on scaffolding looking in and it was a very uncomfortable situation. The hotel would not move us as they were full and the work men started working and stayed working much later than 9-5 which was what... More

My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights in late June this year. When I booked this hotel in February, I was not informed by anyone that there was going to be renovations. When we arrived we noticed straight away that the front of the hotel and breakfast room was totally different to the photos, with only little space being left... More

I agree with others who have posted recently. We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of July and while we were expecting some construction, I was appalled at what we found. We might have well book a cardboard box, and certainly not spent half of what we did. Not only was the lobby completely different as shown, but the... More

Having never been to Paris before i was looking forward to my trip and staying at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of July. At the time of booking i wasn't advised the hotel would be going through renovation works, so when upon arrival i was appalled. The Hotel front was completely shut down, we had... More

Don't be scared off by the renovation. Admittedly, I had one of the renovated rooms, but the new clean modern fixtures and good air conditioning make up for the fact that the rest of the hotel is either shabby or under construction. Hairdryers and small refrigerator in the room. Free WI-FI. The construction noise was minimal and during the day... More

My jaw dropped when the taxi dropped me off at the front door. The hotel is a complete mess and is a construction zone. There is basically no lobby, just a desk in a sheet rocked room near the entrance. The view out the window is scaffolding with men walking by the window all day. The website gave no indication... Even though this hotel is being renovated, it provided a great place to get your head down, being centrally located. We were upgraded to a junior suite on the 5th floor, where most rooms have been finished. There were two lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king size bed and a double sofa. The air conditioning was very efficient, which was... More

The hotel is under going some serious renovation at the moment, but we were lucky enough to be put in a renovated room far away on the 6th floor after calling up ahead and making a request. The room was lovely and clean and gave us an idea of what the hotel would be like upon completion of the renovation;... More
