Friendly welcome, clean room, attentive service, great breakfast and all at a great location. It may be in a side street and it's age and building type may restrict what can be done with the facilities but my wife, my 7 year old son and I were very happy with this fine hotel. We will try to book in next... more

The hotel has nice rooms - very spacey, which is a rarity in Paris. Great buffet breakfast. Nice decor. Lobby a bit small. Hotel is very centrally located on a quiet side street in the grand boulevards area. I think the hotel is a little pricey, which wasn't a problem for me since my employer paid! more

My husband and I travel to Paris frequently, and have come to consider the Paris Opera our home away from home when we are there. From manager to chambermaid, the entire staff is always pleasant and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood is truly that -- a true Paris neighborhood in which we often walk. The... more

I booked this hotel because I am loyal Holiday Inn customer. It's a 4 star hotel with a good location, near Opera and Grand Boulevard Area. Room was very big and clean...only the bathroom wasn't in great condition. It was "old"... Breakfast is great, served in a marvellous room. So it's a quite good choice...but if you found a cheap... more

This review is partially influenced by the fact that we found a good price on this hotel compared to other comparables places in Paris. By US standards, this hotel might very well fall into the 3-star category. It technically had the amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel, but there were some areas that certainly could have used some... more

First of all I booked this hotel because I am loyal Holiday Inn customer. This property lists as a 4 star hotel and it it hardly that but the location is good if you want out of the tourist areas. The staff were approachable but they could care less about the guests needs. The elevators were broken, or worked occasionally.... more

My friend from London met me in Paris and we stayed at this hotel for three nights. My agent here in the U.S. recommended it for the price and since it was a Holiday Inn, we could expect a certain standard. Unlike other reviewers here, we had no problems with noise at all, and for a room with two double... more

First: it's a terrible neighborhood -- as in personal safety issues. And how in the world did this neighborhood get called "Opera"? Not even close. It seemed a bit over-the-top that our room was not ready for us at 3:00 in the afternoon when we arrived. The rooms are tiny, and, as other reviewers have noted, you can hear everything... more
