All of the renovations on the hotel are finished and it's gorgeous. I would say by Paris standards you could give it 4 stars rather than 3. Just returned from 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Bastille, the location for the price couldn't have been better. A short 5 minute walk from Gare de Lyon, metro access. The Seine River is less then a mile away. The staff was very helpful and welcoming and quite attentive. more

This hotle was under renovations when we stayed there but it was still great. The rooms were wonderful, spacious, gorgeous little balcony, great bathroom, comfy beds, modern design. Visited late July with Family. Refurbishment currently ongoing on the lower floors. Our rooms on the 4th floor were fantastic, comfortable beds, a great shower and air conditioning; what more do you need. Staff could not do enough for the guests. Would recommend to anyone. more

The location of this hotel is excellent, it is right beside Gare de Lyon and there is a small supermarket across the road. Rooms are tiny (even by Paris standards) but clean and with pretty decent decor. Pretty good buffet breakfast on offer. more
