I love staying in this hotel, it is so well located for walking around Paris. The staff are excellent always pleasant and willing to help. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is fantastic. Plenty of small local restaurants and bars in the locality if you do not want to wander far.

This a 4 star hotel that is overrated as far as amenities and room quality but is an excellent choice judging from its location. Although centrally located it is a quiet , safe hotel. Excellent public transportation connections. Ideal for shopping. The rooms need renovation . Note that the size of the room is as expectected for Paris , typically... More

We stayed on NYE in Paris for the night in Le Péra. The hotel room was tiny but very clean, good bed and nice bathroom. The lobby/reception area is totally outdated, as well as the breakfast area (25 euro for a breakfast!!). Definitely not a 4* hotel, but excellent location.

Very friendly and courteous staff. The room was clean though very "petite" (small). Excellent location, 5-min walk to Place de la Concorde, 10-15 min walk to Louvre Musée, Galerie Lafayette is just around the corner, as well as Roissy bus to Charles de Gaulle airport (10,50 EUR). The price suits 4-star categorization, but I would rather say it is 3-star... More

Perfect location! Surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. It helped that there was a market (to stock up on bottled water) and a pharmacy nearby. Metro/train station and tour bus stops are very close to the hotel. The hotel's staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was simple, nice, and clean. We would definitely stay at Le Pera... More

Needed a reaonably priced comfortable hotel in the opera district for business/leisure visit. Booked a single room as only a one night stay and was very pleased to see that it had a double bed and a separate area with sofa so more spacious than I was expecting. Staff all very courteous and helpful and would thoroughly recommend this hotel... More

I've stayed at another hotel in the same street on my 2+ yearly trips to Paris for over 10 years. After the neverending renovations, decided it was time for a change and tried another one, which was an apart hotel in the corner closer to Printemps. Didn't like that one much either, changed to this one a couple months ago... More

I book a triple room at this hotel... first we dont know the area and just trying our luck.. but it turns out to be a great location. 5 min walk away to printemps and lafayette, also to st. Honore. The room was okay, quite spacious. In our first day the aircon wasnt work well so they upgrade us to... More

It is an elegant hotel. I think it is like a "boutique hotel". The lobby is nice and the place where you can have breakfast is nice. The breakfast is basic but good enough. We have a junior suite and it was very comfortable and modern. People at the lobby were very kind and explain us everything in English very... More

This hotel was highly recommended from a travel Agent in Australa however we were very disappointed in the room we were allocated which was apparently an update compared with the photos on the hotel website. Our oom had very tired furniture, windows broken and unable to be opened and as the air conditioning did not work we spent a sleepless... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
