A quiet hotel can be difficult to find in Paris, let alone one as well situated as Le Pera. For that reason alone it is worth considering. The room was comfortable and clean but by no means large. While the decor could stand to be refreshed — carpets in particular seem quite dated — the bathroom was modern. Staff were... more

Stayed here at the end of a trip through Italy and France. Found the hotel on the internet after recommendations from friends to stay in the vicinity of the Opera. Used the hotel as a base for excursions on foot and by metro. Handy to RER Auber station. Free high speed wireless in the room, and worked fine throughout my... more

I was in the hotel last week and i liked it a lot. the service was very nice, the staff very friendly. the location is perfect and is the strong point of the hotel. The price was affordable. I would have preferred more modern rooms because they are getting old. what made this trip very nice was the staff, the... more

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS- This place is a real joke!!!!!!!! Upon checking in at this 4 Star (HA HA - in reality it's maybe a 2 star) hotel they had our reservation but said they hadn't received our payment. We went ahead and checked in and they gave us a room key. I immediately showed them my hotel... more

We stayed at this hotel on advice of Info desk at Charles DeGaulle airport and "special rate"; did get printed reservation. Location was good, convenient to many metro lines & walkable to many sights, but still very quiet. We upgraded to mini suite, which was a good thing, since it gave us enough room to walk around the bed, and... more

Was in Paris for work for 8 days and staying at the very charming but very self consious and expensive Hotel Castille at 550 E a night. Decided to extend a night but Catsille was full and wanted something cheaper. Wanderd 2 blocks away and found Le Pera at 200 E a night and tooka chance . The freshly decorated... more

Putting the location to one side (because Paris is completely accessible via Le Metro and on foot) Le Pera is at best a 2 star hotel. The fit, finish and feel is flaky and flagging. The staff at the hotel achieve new heights of apathy and, as quite rightly noted by most other reviewers, the rooms are tired and cramped.... more
