Just enjoyed a week at this delightful hotel. Gorgeous traditional villas, exquisitely furnished. We borrowed the canoes for a paddle along the coast and enjoyed cycle rides, swam in the beautiful clear seas and indulged in the cocktails and home-cooked meals..

It's been a year, but still. The reviews were very mixed when we booked, but we went for it and were not disappointed. We had a room on the 5th floor and it was very quiet despite the busy street. The breakfast was very good for a non-Nordic breakfast, different breads, toppings, yoghurt etc. The corridors and the lift were... More

I booked this hotel and they pre authorised my card for 124 euros. I upgraded my room and again they pre authorised my card by 147 euros. I then requested a double bed and again my card was pre authorised by 147 euros. After checking my account and being told by my bank what had happened i cancelled my booking... More

Dear Sir, Apparently, your complaint to all our staff wasn’t enough. You had to complain also on TripAdvisor to denigrate our hotel. To reiterate, this error was a mistake of one of our new night receptionists. This is usual in hotels to make a pre-authorization in order to guarantee the reservation in case of late cancellation. To overpass this problem,... More

The room we had must be the last one waiting to be renovated on the third floor. It was very squishy but the bedding was pristine every day, we were not happy with the bathroom as it needs renovating and the shower curtain needs to go. The breakfast room was nice and tidy and the breakfast range was good. Having... More

Wouldn't class as 3* ! Husband booked this hotel as rooms looked quite spacious . We had upgraded to a superior room which was quite small ! Not enough wardrobe space ! In saying this the rooms were very clean and tidy as were bathrooms ! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and it is situated quite nicely... More

Our original booking for a hotel in Paris was cancelled (why we have still not found out) while we were travelling in Italy and we had an emergency finding accommodation at the last minute. With little time we found availibilty at France Louvre and although the price semd high, the location was great. On arrival we were shocked at the... More

I decided to book a room to this hotel because of proximity. When I got there, although I booked a double/twin room with single occupancy, they wanted to give me a single room which I refused. After arguing my case they decided to give me a superior room with an extra charge as they did not have anymore double which... More

This hotel is a poor choice for a family. It is a 1 to 2 star motel (not hotel) by US standards. Pros: The hotel staff are very polite and helpful, they agreed to refund after we decided to change hotels and they responded twice to an inquiry about a lost item. It is walking distance to Notre Dame. The... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
