This hotel is amazing, great location, the rooms are nice, I had an amazing room with terrace to the street with an amazing view. The bathroom is clean and wide. The attention is good and the first floor living room is really cozy

The only advantage of this hotel is location. Room is small (don't trust in their picture) but clean enough. The first night was a horrible shocking for us. I woke up because of the noise of somebody jacket, I turned on the light and was extremely panic to saw one stranger man stood next to my bed and my baggages... More

Hardest thing about this hotel is finding it. Currently there is no signage on the street to indicate the hotel. Make sure you have the street number (40) but you will still miss it. It is simply one door opposite the bus stop. They are renovating the awning and signage and while this happens there is nothing other than a... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. First impression one gets is of a really cramped reception area, followed by an even smaller elevator. The same theme applies to the rooms, which hardly have any space to move about. The heating system was malfunctioning - the room was like a furnace and the only way to resolve this was... More

This hotel is basic and as it is an older building the rooms are small. I think many hotels this age have the same issue. We were in room 11 on floor one. Not great as very little natural day light ( windows opened onto internal courtyard). It did have rather a drain like smell too. On the other hand... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It is not a 3 stars hotel, the reception area is so small you can hardly walk in with suitcases. my impression was of a dirty place, the carpets in the hallways are terrible dirty, the room is so small you can't move around, but the bed and the bathroom were clean.... Interesting experience staying here. Chose it for the location , five minutes walk from Notre Dame and thecLatin Quarter, ten minutes from the Louvre and Place de Concorde and surrounded by cafe bars and restaurants in the Marais district. The hotel reception is tiny although the staff were excellent and dealt with all of our queries and were so helpful... More

When it comes to location, this 3* hotel is perfectly located. 'Rue de Rivoli' opposite Hotel de Ville in Marais. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the vincinity and Maris is also a gay area. Walkable distance to RER B, Chatelet les Halles which has direct acces to CDG. Close to the Louvre, Centre Pompidou and Ile... More

I stayed here for 6 nights on a touristic trip. I had been in Paris before and stayed in the La Défense area, which was only accessible from downtown through a lengthy bus or metro ride. The France Louvre, however, has a perfect location, throughout my 6 days in Paris, I visited all major destinations, using nothing but Velib' bicycles.... More

I stayed with my sons age 8 and 12 in a single room. The room was very small. The fridge did not work. The LCD TV was less than 30" and the channels were all in French. The WiFi was free and of reasonable speed. The room had a weird smell. It was however very economical, the staff were helpful.... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
