Can't beat the location. Hotel is cozy and charming. Rooms are actually quite spacious and comfortable and well appointed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Aziz, the Manager, was just outstanding. In addition to being extremely helpful and resourceful, he went out of his way to search and find my wallet that I had left behind and make sure it... More

We experienced efficient, hospitable service and were made to feel most welcome and at home by the warm and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable with conveniently placed plug points at the bedside for recharging electronics. A very central and chic location with the renowned Brasserie Lipp next door and the Cafe de Flore directly across the road. If you... More

Au Manoir was perfectly located on Saint Germain Boulevard. Great access to metro, shops, and restaurants. Bedroom was normal size for Paris (ie a bit small) but ours had two steps down to the bathroom which was about half the size of the bedroom, so it made all the difference! Had tub/tower combination, large vanity area, separate make-up table, built... More

Au Manoir Saint Germain De Pres is a perfectly sited little hotel. It is small and quaint and the staff certainly make you feel welcome. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Yes, the hotel is small and compact, and I highly recommend getting the bigger deluxe rooms. We stayed in room 202, had a great view... More

Mr. Aziz took care of everything. He has been there 30 Years. The rooms have been redone, bathrooms too. Can't beat the location, the price and the service. Wifi was included and there is room service if you wish . Good ideas were to eat near the Hotel. Our room #402 was a good size we liked it overlooked the... More

This is a lovely little hotel in the heart of Saint Germain. The room we had was reasonable, compared in size to most Paris hotel rooms. It was very clean, and had a chaise lounge that was also an extra bed. It offers a typical French breakfast, so don't expect a full American. But you can always eat breakfast at... More

In Paris the best area to stay in, by far, is the Saint Germain district (6th Arrondissement) because it's central to pretty much everything and the Au Manoir Hotel is like the pearl in an oyster. From its location to the quality the room we stayed in (202) everything was "top drawer" which was complemented too by the friendly professional... More

Four nights here last month were pleasant- the pictures present a much more dressed up version of what the rooms actually look like- they are quaint , small and sweet for the most part and we were able to sleep three of us - The plus side is the location, which is so convenient to walk almost anywhere. Our reservation... More

Small hotel close to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. Has a room for three, which is rare. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Good breakfast. The front desk is most helpful! Many of the guests are regulars, so book ahead!

Two of us stayed here in April for nearly a week. The location gave us great walking access to the Latin Quarter and getting around Paris was easy from here. There was a metro station across the road and a taxi stand out the front. There was a large supermarket around the corner and cafe's and shops within easy reach.... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
