This is a cute, small hotel with geraniums decorating the window boxes at the front. The location was perfect for our three nights in Paris - walking distance to most places we wanted to go, convenient Metro access, and lots of nice restaurants nearby. We had a standard double room, which was small but had a remarkable amount of closet... More

The 2 excellent things about this hotel is it's location and it's comfy beds. The room was so dark as well so that combined with the bed was a very good nights sleep. The darkness wasn't to be desired in the day as we had an internal view room, but to be honest we weren't in the hotel for very... More

Location: Excellent location - 3 min. walk to Odeon metro (Starbucks across the street), 10 minutes to the church of St.Germaine des Pres, approx. 15 minutes to Notre Dame and St. Sulpice, and 20 minutes to Musee d'Orsay and other popular sites. Room: Nice size for a European hotel; clean; a pretty, 18th century-style print fabric covering walls and back... More

We loved our stay at the hotel. The rooms are very quite, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The breakfast is a great value for the money, and the staff were terrific. Can't say enough good things about the hotel and it's fabulous location.

As with most of the international hotels we book, we like smaller, more personal boutique hotels and the best western didn't disappoint. We were greeted at reception by Michelle who was very welcoming and very kindly upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the top floor with exceptional all round views of Paris. The hotel is in a fantastic location,... More

Just returned from a first time trip to Paris and stayed here for four nights. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel on many counts. It's friendly, efficient and helpful staff, it's location, the stylish and well appointed rooms, and though small it is perfectly formed! An older building with up to date and in keeping modern amenities. The double glazing and... More

The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. There are more than 50 fine eateries ranging from next door, to all around the block (including the alley), to all around neighboring blocks. Truly heaven if you like good food. The hotel itself is lovely. It is one-half block to the Odien stop on line 4 of the Metro.

Great location, great breakfast, great rooms -- a truly all-around wonderful and charming place to stay in Paris! I always hesitate to give this hotel a review because I'm afraid everyone will discover my "secret" and prices will go up and availability will go down. But I have to be honest to all my fellow travel lovers.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
