My wife and I stayed here in July for four nights. It was her first visit to Paris, and I had been only once before for work. Our room had an amazing view of Notre Dame out our window. Hotel was incredibly quiet, and bed was great for sleeping. The ladies at the front desk could not have been more... More

The hotel is located 10 min away from the Louvre, 1 min away from the subway I'm an area with a lot of cafes. The rooms are nicely done. The wifi is spotty but this is the case with most hotels in Paris. What is important when you travel abroad is a " trusty and knowledgeable advisor" that can help... More

The hotel is good, with a faded antique kind of period style, and provides a great base from which to explore Paris. All in all I'd say this is reasonable value for money due to the location. Travel in from CDG was very easy and inexpensive, direct to St Michel station from the airport by RER train, and from there... More

Great hotel, stayed here in two rooms with wife and two teenage daughters. Great location near Notre Dame , fantastic neighborhood. Extremely helpful front desk staff who helped us arrange several tours. It was nearly 98 degrees our week in Paris, we heard others complain their hotel lacked adequate a/c, but Left bank was great. Great restaurant frequented by Voltaire... More

Enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel. Older style furniture yet very clean. We had a 6th floor suite for 2 adults, 2 teens. Plenty of room for all, including luggage. Windows by master bed look to Notre Dame; windows by 2 twins look to Eiffel Tower. Bathroom decent sized and clean - plenty of towels. Shower without curtain and... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully located small hotel. We stayed in a triple room, although we were just two people. We opted out of a smaller double for the somewhat larger space and two beds (large rooms were already booked). Our room was clean and had openable windows onto the inner court - Very quiet! Breakfast was... More

Found this hotel to be very close to buzzy and busy restaurant and bar area. Also high end shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms clean and quite comfortable even though small. This is a great central hotel.

We stayed in this charming hotel for one night before beginning our river cruise. We loved it for many reasons; clean, comfortable and a friendly and helpful staff. One reason that we chose the Left Bank-St. Germain was because it is right next door to one of our favorite restaurants in Paris, Le Procope. It was lovely being able to... More

While the rooms in this hotel are typical European small, there are many positive aspects to this hotel that make it a great place to stay. First it is located within a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame, Louvre,, Musee D'Orsay and around the corner from the Cluny. The Odeon Metro is a two minute walk which connects you to... More

Stayed here a week and while expensive, that seems to be the norm in Paris, it was a lovely hotel. Very well located for sightseeing and exploring. Everything we wanted to do. The room was a decent size considering there were four of us. We weren't overly crowded. We had an inside room so it was very quiet and dark.... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
