Fabulous location... Lots of restaurants nearby... Quaint rooms... Helpful staff.... Very quiet... Only complaint was lukewarm water in shower. Other than that- I'd go back!! Also a quick walk to both notre dame, the seine, and the louvre!

This hotel is very nice. Rooms and bathroom are standard size for Paris. The location of the hotel is very good. Within walking distance of the Louvre. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars in the area. Always my first choice when I'm in Paris if the price is within reason.

Easy location to see it all. Quick cab ride from Gare de Lyon. Quaint and convenient for four women traveling together. Surrounded by shopping, eating, and sightseeing. Room overlooked inner courtyard which was five with us - quiet and very clean.

Stayed here in 2008 with my family and stayed again for 4 days during a business conference. Furnishings and appliances seemed to be updated, I think in 2011 based on some labels. Although the rooms are small, like most in the 6th arr. they are perfectly adequate. My room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the street and with the... More

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Left Bank. As a family for four, two adults and two children, we stayed in their quadruple room that had two single beds and one queen sized bed. The room was cozy but ample room for the four of us and our four suitcases. The location was perfect as it... More

We stayed here on a Friday night. The hotel is small and charming, using antiques and individual wallpaper. We had a superior bedroom for 3 people which was at the back of the hotel. It was really nice and was in effect a 2 bedroom room as you could curtain off the area when your child is asleep. Good selection... More

I went for my 21st birthday to Paris, and stayed at this hotel. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely young lady who answered all our questions, handed us a map and explained where the hotel was in relation to everything we wanted to see. We had a room with a perfect view of Notre Dame and we were... More

My Fiancee and I have just retuned from a 4 day break in Paris. This hotel was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff, namely Michele, couldn't do enough for us. We even had a veiw of the Eiffel Tower from our room ( 501) which is located in the front of the hotel on the fifth floor.... More

The Left Bank Hotel is such a find! I spent four nights at the hotel for a business trip, it was perfect. The hotel is situated in the perfect location to explore Paris, with almost everything on your doorstep. The interiors of the hotel are very quirky, with individually designed rooms. Interesting artwork, vintage furniture and antiques adorn the rooms... More

The rooms have fabric decorating the walls. The artwork is lovely. The bed has a comfortable mattress, dream-inducing sheets and four large pillows. There is an apparat to boil water. Next to it is a basket with tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk. The bathroom is large with a rack to warm it, towels, and pajamas. Since there are so... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
