We stayed at this hotel in the heart of Paris's Left Bank, just steps away from Boulvard Saint Germain and the Odeon metro. During our stay the receptionists, Lorette and Fanny, were pleasant, courteous, and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had superior faucets, with very hot water. For Paris hotel rooms, ours seemed a bit larger... More

We were recently on "holiday" from the states, and decided on the Best Western in St. Germain based on previous good reviews and its central location and access to the Metro station. We are a family of four, with a 16yo son and an 18yo daughter. The room was described as a quad room, so it came with two single... More

We stayed here as a group with young children. The staff were very friendly and helpful, this hotel was ideally situated to allow us to explore Paris. The rooms were clean and there was enough space for four of us in one room. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Left Bank in March 2015. It is a lovely quirky little hotel with a antique feel to it. It was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our room. We would stay again when revisiting Paris.

In Paris for three nights between river cruises, we stayed at Best Western Left Bank because of the numerous excellent ratings. While our room was small and unspectacular it was adequate for our needs. The main selling point is location with many restaurants, bakeries, chocolate shops and a supermarket within a 2-3 minute walk. Notre Dame is less than a... More

Our family of five booked two rooms (a double and a triple) for two nights. The location was great, however, the Odeon Metro stop was closed for repairs or renovations during our visit. We were able to walk to a lot of the main attractions in Paris. The neighborhood was full of cafes and bakeries and we enjoyed simply walking... More

The hotel is perfectly situated near the Metro Odeon stop, and close to some wonderful restaurants and shops. The rooms are tastefully done, with comfortable beds. We had a room at the front on the fourth floor and the double glazing was most efficient at keeping all noise out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Not cheap but location is worth paying for, you can walk to most attractions from here. Decor is quaint and bed comfortable but take breakfast at a cafe not the hotel for better value and more fun. Our room at the front was noisy so ask for one on the back.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, in fabulous location. Recommend by friends Daughter, and couldn't have chosen better. We were lucky enough to have a room at the top (605) with super kingsize bef, lovely bathroom and view of Notre Dame! Lift to all floors. Very pretty hotel with lovely front desk staff, who were very helpful. Lovely lady at breakfast and nothing... More

Fabulous location... Lots of restaurants nearby... Quaint rooms... Helpful staff.... Very quiet... Only complaint was lukewarm water in shower. Other than that- I'd go back!! Also a quick walk to both notre dame, the seine, and the louvre!

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
