We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully located small hotel. We stayed in a triple room, although we were just two people. We opted out of a smaller double for the somewhat larger space and two beds (large rooms were already booked). Our room was clean and had openable windows onto the inner court - Very quiet! Breakfast was... More

Found this hotel to be very close to buzzy and busy restaurant and bar area. Also high end shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms clean and quite comfortable even though small. This is a great central hotel.

We stayed in this charming hotel for one night before beginning our river cruise. We loved it for many reasons; clean, comfortable and a friendly and helpful staff. One reason that we chose the Left Bank-St. Germain was because it is right next door to one of our favorite restaurants in Paris, Le Procope. It was lovely being able to... More

While the rooms in this hotel are typical European small, there are many positive aspects to this hotel that make it a great place to stay. First it is located within a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame, Louvre,, Musee D'Orsay and around the corner from the Cluny. The Odeon Metro is a two minute walk which connects you to... More

Stayed here a week and while expensive, that seems to be the norm in Paris, it was a lovely hotel. Very well located for sightseeing and exploring. Everything we wanted to do. The room was a decent size considering there were four of us. We weren't overly crowded. We had an inside room so it was very quiet and dark.... More

We spent three nights here and loved it. From the moment we entered everything fell into place. The lady at the front desk was always smiling and very helpful to all the questions we put to her each day. The room was a little on the small side but we quickly got used to it and the beds were extremely... More

This is a cute, small hotel with geraniums decorating the window boxes at the front. The location was perfect for our three nights in Paris - walking distance to most places we wanted to go, convenient Metro access, and lots of nice restaurants nearby. We had a standard double room, which was small but had a remarkable amount of closet... More

The 2 excellent things about this hotel is it's location and it's comfy beds. The room was so dark as well so that combined with the bed was a very good nights sleep. The darkness wasn't to be desired in the day as we had an internal view room, but to be honest we weren't in the hotel for very... More

Location: Excellent location - 3 min. walk to Odeon metro (Starbucks across the street), 10 minutes to the church of St.Germaine des Pres, approx. 15 minutes to Notre Dame and St. Sulpice, and 20 minutes to Musee d'Orsay and other popular sites. Room: Nice size for a European hotel; clean; a pretty, 18th century-style print fabric covering walls and back... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
