First off we didn't have high expectations as we were travelling around Europe for 6 weeks so only really needed a decent place to sleep. This hotel is brutal. Location wasn't great, the room was brutal. Very Very dated, all cheap ikea furniture which was past its due date. It didn't feel clean at all, everything was worn out from... More

Nice room, nice breakfast included, a very friendly gentleman attending the front desk and close to the train station. The room where I stayed included the bathroom and it was quite big compared to the rest in Europe.

Fantastic little hotel in a great hotel in Paris (on the direct metro line to the Eiffel Tower). Our triple room was excellent value and roomy for Paris. The staff were very welcoming. Yes, the hotel is dated, however it does offer excellent value for Paris.

Stayed here for four nights and loved it! Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were spotlessly clean and the metro was a short walk away. We could get good, fast WiFi in our room and the tv was great (world cup matches my boyfriend could catch). It's reasonably priced and great location. The only problem I had was that... More

Great location. You can get to the metro system very easily. The staff was always very friendly and the room was spotless. They were nice enough to print out our boarding passes after a surprise e-mail from Ryanair. Breakfast was good, tea, coffee or hot chocolate and some typical breads. Our biggest issues were not enough towels in the bathroom... More

Tidy, clean, friendly, CDG transfer for 51 EUR - cost for 3 persons. Good location in a quiet street, real Paris family hotel. Not fancy, needs renovation, an elevator as small as 2 travel bags only, but ok as a hub to explore and feel Paris.

We stayed in Hotel de Belfort for 4 nights. We had one double room and a twin. Both rooms were very clean and recently decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location (as already mentioned) is very handy to three metro stops and has several supermarkets and two lovely parks within 5 minutes walk, not to mention Pere Lachaise... Hotel has to have the friendliest staff in Paris. All very helpful to this non-French speaking tourist. Rebecca and Souhila were particularly wonderful. The hotel is in a quiet area just off Rue Voltarie and near 3 Metro stops of which two are line 9 which goes by the Eiffel Tower and Galleries La Fayette. The rooms are small and... More

A welcome addition to Hotel de Belfort is the airport shuttle service, which is convenient and reasonably priced, serving both Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. My family and I were particularly struck by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff in printing plane boarding cards, storing luggage, and booking the airport shuttle. Further than that, I can only... More

I have always linked Paris with low quality and overpriced accommodation. Hotel de Belfort somehow manages to break this trend, providing a safe, clean, friendly environment whilst keeping hostel-like prices. I do not really have any cons to point out, room was properly cleaned daily, toilet working perfectly with good water pressure and temperature, reception staff was efficient, polite, bilingual...
