This is more of a hostel that has been turned into a hotel. It's not terrible, but just very small. The room was clean but very small for 2 people. I was sharing with someone else and the bathroom was pretty much in the same room, we asked to change on the first night but they said it was all... More

Management response:

Dear GlobeTraveller152, Thank so much for your contribution, your opinion is very pecious, it help us to improve our service quality. Of course, you chose a MiniCabane room (the smallest category) this room is double bed but it's appropriate to be occuped by a single occupant. We aupgraded you for the rest of you stay, and we are happy that... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Hi-matic last November for a long weekend. We had read the reviews, and knew what to expect, but the reality of actually staying in one of the Hi-matic tiny cramped rooms was quite extreme. Worst that the lack of space (we had a mattress on a sort of crash mat set up on... More

Dear Elcy96, we thank you for your review on trip advisor website and we regret that your stay was not up to your expectations. This concept, is like "japan style" with a futon on the floor and optimising a relatively small space (like a lot of rooms in Paris) .Thids kind of room with a particular concept, is indeed appreciated... I stayed in the HI MATIC, with my son, very friendly staff, very clean, the hotel was next door to a bakery and across the road from a supermarket, loads of cafes and restaurants and only 5 minutes from the metro. I loved the hotel and would stay here again

Hi There Mary ! we are really glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. This concept has nothing to do with traditional rooms and we try every day to share this idea with our customers. Indeed, we've got an Ideal location next to the famous "place de la Bastille" which allows you to take advantage at the most of... More

The cleaning staff left the medication from the previous visitor behind the matrass, which shows that the room was not cleaned properly. The Food wasn't organic (As mentioned in their descripton) and also verrrry small. There was nobody to change the batteries of the safe, even after asking two times, so we had to hide everything. Our room was so... More

Stayed for 5 nights, was very comfortable and although it was very basic it had everything we needed. The shower was in the room and everything was very confined however we wernt 'pushed for space' as the bed area was very big and nice to chill out on. The staff were very friendly, didn't use many of the hotel facilities... More

Stayed one night, and very much enjoyed the efficiency and playful design of this budget hotel. The room was tiny, but packed everything in. The shower and toilet cubicles were within the room; the bed was formed of futon mattresses, and every detail is designed with fun, space efficiency and colour. We slept very well, though disturbed by rowdy people... More

We stayed here last week & I really couldn't fault it. We were greteed at reception by a lovely lady who spoke excellent English. She pointed us in the right direction for the closest metro station explaining where the best stops where. Our room was spotless & very funky. Lovely Ren products for hand wash & shower gel. The room... More

This is not a hotel that I would recommend to anyone aside from people in their 20s or early to mid 30s, for the hotel has a style that caters to the mentally and physically young. The bright colors and low, japanese futon style beds are fun and great for people in this age demographic, but I imagine most older... More

We stayed here for one night and booked very last minute on a Saturday as we wanted to extend our stay in Paris. The price is decent for hotels in Paris and this one is very clean, we had breakfast included and the staff were very friendly. It is a cross between a hostel and a budget hotel. But doesn't... We know and love the Hi Hotel in Nice... Of course the place could not be as large since we are in Paris but still the room was minuscule for the luggage and we had to take off our shoes to walk to the other side of the room since we had to walk on the bed. The concept is... More
