Located close to Les Halles, Louvre, Notre-Dame and Centre Pompidou as well Rivoli street if you are into shopping. Old style decorations in a very old building. Our 'superior' room did have a queen size bed which covered almost all of the floor. Taking a shower makes you want to make a drastic diet. One gets all the amenities of... More

Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Our entire team thank you very much for your visit and for your time to share your experience at our hotel with Tripadvisor users. As you could see during your stay, our building is a very old one, and we decided to keep the atmosphere of the originaly construction, that's why some of the rooms are... More

The location couldn't be better...within walking distance from the Louvre, d'Orsey, Champs Elysees, Conciergerie, Tour Saint-Jacques, Notre Dame, and a lot more of Paris iconic attractions. The place is rubbing shoulders with Rue Rivoli and with everything that comes with it...shops, bars, cafes and restaurants! The hotel it shelf has a very parisiense deco, the rooms are functional and clean.... More

Located on the corner of two streets that would be called alleys in the US, the Grand Hotel Dechampaigne is a charming 3-star hotel in central Paris, just off the Rue de Rivoli. The Louvre, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou and the Seine are within easy walking distance. But if you want to go further afield, the entrance to the Chatalet/Les... More

Hard to find anything this classy, as well located and tastefully decorated at half a block from la Seine, two blocks from the Louvre, a hundred meters from les Halles for the price you get rooms in this hotel.. Artists the quality of Pina Bauch and Barbara stayed here when performing in Paris... A great catch...

I couldn't fault this hotel. Fantastic location. We were literally less than five minutes from the Lourve. It doesn't get any better than that. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They made our stay fantastic. Very helpful. The accommodation was beautiful and romantic. The breakfast was great. Lots of things in offer and fresh. The hotel was also in a... More

Excellent location, mosthe sites is within 10 minutes walk. Room is small, furniture is not very good. Something is broken. There is not enough power outlet in the room, so you have to disconnect minibar to charge your phone. It wasn't very difficult in my room because minibar was broken also and didn't need any power at all.

We had stayed some years ago and enjoyed, with friendly staff, central location and value. It has since been "freshened" up without loss of grand charm of yesteryear, although not quite as economical. Our 4th floor room now had double glazed windows, so street noises were reduced significantly, which we found an advantage - having sun light, breeze, etc during... More

The staff was very helpful and courteous . The location was excellent with easy access to the metro and Louvre Museum. The rooms were a little small but this was to be expected. I would definity stay there again.

Very charming and nice hotel only two minutes walking distance from the Seine. Room was decorated in a historical way but was very clean and had everything we needed, even a small french balcany! Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
