The hotel is located centrally. Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Centre Pompidou are all in short walking distance. Metro station is very close. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom is extremely small. The hotel is located in a historic building dated late 1500s, and renovation seems to be impossible in many aspects. But at least room decorations... More

Notre Dame, Quartier Latin,The Louvre, Centre Pompidou are all within walking distance of this hotel. The hotel is just off Rue de Rivoli and near the lovely Place du Chatelet (try the terrace of historic Cafe le Zimmer !). In the hotel you hear nothing of the traffic. Metro Chatelet and Metro Pont Neuf are closeby.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a mini break to do the sights of Paris Hotel is superbly situated near lots of the sights and by the river The rooms are claustrophobic and really gaudy with their decoration lighter more muted colours.would give more of a feeling of space Breakfast is expensive and boring , the reception staff were helpful... This was just the perfect little hotel in the most perfect location. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. Everything worked and it was nice and quite (3rd floor). Surrounding us was great restaurants and a little grocery store that we visited several times for our wine fix. The front desk staff helped us with a handful of questions... More

Stayed here as part of my 20th wedding anniversary holiday for 4 nights. The hotel is very well located being steps from two exits from the Chatelet-Les Halles Metro and RER complex, the Rue de Rivoli, a supermarket on the corner of the street, and minutes from the Seine, the Louvre, the Pont Neuf and other sites. The bus departure... More

We stayed here in late October 2013 for 5 nights. We had stayed here 2 years before and found it to be in the perfect location to walk to all major attractions so decided to return. The manager remembered us. We had the same room again. Whilst the rooms are not large, a lot of accommodation in Paris is the... More

I chose this hotel as a location for proposing to my then girlfriend, now fiancé. A short cab ride from Gare du Nord, it was located in the heart of Paris in the First Arrondissement. One block from the River Seine, one block or so from the Châtelet Metro Station, and a short walk from Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the... More

Excellent boutique hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean and cosy rooms, Close to many cafes, restaurants, shopping and so much more, but tucked away in a quite little street. Whether it's your 1st or 50th visit to Paris, this is a good base and lovely place to stay. Highly recommended, will be back.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
