I chose this hotel as a location for proposing to my then girlfriend, now fiancé. A short cab ride from Gare du Nord, it was located in the heart of Paris in the First Arrondissement. One block from the River Seine, one block or so from the Châtelet Metro Station, and a short walk from Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the... More

I was to stay for 1 night in Paris in regards to business travel. By chance my collegue had stayed at this hotel, and there was difficulties in getting hotel room this day. So I found this hotel in the company booking database - and booked it. It was difficult to find, but maps on iphone helped. Quite place with... More

Excellent boutique hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean and cosy rooms, Close to many cafes, restaurants, shopping and so much more, but tucked away in a quite little street. Whether it's your 1st or 50th visit to Paris, this is a good base and lovely place to stay. Highly recommended, will be back.

My family spent four days at the hotel, and it was very nice. The hotel is a boutique, and very quaint. It is in a great location to visit the sites. It's very close to Notre Dame and the short walk to the Louvre. All around the hotel were many restaurants and shops. The rooms are very, very small, but... More

I stayed four nights with my girlfriend. Our experience was very pleasant. This Hotel is perfectly located and is only a few minutes away from Notre Dame and the Louvre on foot. The Hotel has a charm to it that makes it perfect for a romantic holiday. Our room was smaller than we had expected from the pictures we had... More

We had a balcony room on the top floor. The room was small and had a random bit piece of beam through the middle of the room, but I guess that added some character. The bathroom had a very good shower and the dressing gowns and slippers were a nice touch. However, the air con in the room didn't work... More

We stayed here at the end of September and on our way back from Rome at the beginning of October. The hotel is very ornate in an old-fashion French-ornate style. Excellent for people on the go, not modern at all. But it has free Wi-fi and the Staff is very helpful and attentive, they give good tips, there's a little... More

Good hotel in a fantastic location , just a short walk along the riverbank or the rue de rivouli to le louvre or a similar distance in the opposite direction to Norte dame, the rooms are quite small but it is a very old house converted, so very understandable . We would have no problem staying in this hotel again

Located close to Les Halles, Louvre, Notre-Dame and Centre Pompidou as well Rivoli street if you are into shopping. Old style decorations in a very old building. Our 'superior' room did have a queen size bed which covered almost all of the floor. Taking a shower makes you want to make a drastic diet. One gets all the amenities of... More

The location couldn't be better...within walking distance from the Louvre, d'Orsey, Champs Elysees, Conciergerie, Tour Saint-Jacques, Notre Dame, and a lot more of Paris iconic attractions. The place is rubbing shoulders with Rue Rivoli and with everything that comes with it...shops, bars, cafes and restaurants! The hotel it shelf has a very parisiense deco, the rooms are functional and clean.... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
