Stayed 3 nights durig the Easter holidays. This hotel is in a great lcatin for many attractions and amenities. The price reflects its location rather than the hotel itself. Let's start with the plus points: Great location Helpful staff Good beakfast for 14 € each Nice residents' lounge Very comfortable beds Minus points Housekeeping needs to improve. Dirty linen on... This is one of the more comfortable 3 star hotels I've been to. We had three travelers so needed a suite and found this one very reasonable. Like most rooms in Paris, it was small but of adequate size. The location is excellent, near several wine bars, restaurants, and the a couple of metro stops, not to mention walking distance... More

We had 2 rooms for a family of 4. Room 3 view on the (quiet) street, room 4, smaller, view on small courtyard. Low ceilings but charming. Small but clean and well appointed bathrooms. Lovely staff. Good breakfast, excellent tea and orange juice. Overall very charming. Some rooms may be bigger than what we got, but it was a last-minute... More

I am so pleased we chose to stay at Hotel Britannique! The location is great, very easy walking distance to Notre Dame (5 minutes) and right near the Seine which you can walk up to get to the Louvre (15 minutes), Place de la Concorde (25 minutes) and even on to the Eiffel Tower or the end of the Champs... Have been attending annual business meetings in Paris for nearly 10 consecutive years. HB is the best. Great staff, incredibly relaxing environment, and a location that cannot be beat. Fresh fruit in the room on check in, and a great little tea set for an afternoon pick-up, replenished every day. Wireless internet. Great breakfast. And a very good value for... More

Stayed 4 nights with friends in this charming hotel. The bowl of fresh fruit, bottles of water and fluffy bathrobes in the room all just added to the warm welcome by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The hotel is beautifully furnished, has well appointed and welcoming rooms and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, especially welcome after a day's walking... More

The Hotel is located in a very good place, in the centre of the city, it is close to a big metro station and some site seeing. The room were very clean, and reception was very kind. The is a good shopping centre close to it, walking distance from notre dame, hotel de ville and bastille square (relative walking distance)

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The rooms are typically Parisian, small but well appointed, with a nice small bathroom. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and the location was very quiet for being in such a busy, central area. It was only a 2 minute walk to the Metro Chatelet. There are multiple restaurants in the area in all... More

Dear Guests, It is a pleasure to read all the nice compliments you have written regarding the hotel’s staff, decoration and location. It is true that the rooms, as well as the elevator, are typically Parisian (including their size!). Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay, and we hope to be able to welcome you back... More

Our neighbors recommended this small boutique hotel so we reserved a 5th floor king bed with balcony. March is a little too cold to use the rather smallest balcony and it does cost extra. Small and cozy rooms. Walking distance to most attractions if you plan your site-seeing day. Paris is a walking city and you should get into shape... More

Dear Guests, Thank you for your comments on the hotel. We are sure that they will be useful to many other travellers. Regarding the rooms, there are some on the front and the back side of the hotel. Many people prefer the front side of the hotel as it has nice views onto a calm street, and others prefer rooms... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
