The Hotel is located in a very good place, in the centre of the city, it is close to a big metro station and some site seeing. The room were very clean, and reception was very kind. The is a good shopping centre close to it, walking distance from notre dame, hotel de ville and bastille square (relative walking distance)

We spent 4 nights at this hotel. The rooms are typically Parisian, small but well appointed, with a nice small bathroom. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and the location was very quiet for being in such a busy, central area. It was only a 2 minute walk to the Metro Chatelet. There are multiple restaurants in the area in all... More

Our neighbors recommended this small boutique hotel so we reserved a 5th floor king bed with balcony. March is a little too cold to use the rather smallest balcony and it does cost extra. Small and cozy rooms. Walking distance to most attractions if you plan your site-seeing day. Paris is a walking city and you should get into shape... More

This is our fourth stay at the Britannique and it never fails to delight us.This time is was to celebrate my birthday and on arrival in our room there was a vase with 2 beautiful roses (one red and one white), a big bowl of fruit and a personalised postcard-such a delightful touch. We were also upgraded to a room with... We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in the city of love. This hotel made every single second an absolute great experience. All the personnel were friendly & professional and assisted us with all inquiries and requests. They were all extremely competent in English, which obviously added great value to our stay. On the day of our anniversary they converted the... More

My stay over the weekend was amazing. The location is awesome, all the places of interest are few blocks walking distance. Rooms are beautiful and cozy. Definitely recommend it. Service was very good.

yes, we looked for a typical and romantic hotel in walking distance to the center sightseeing highlights of paris. we definitly got it. 5 min to point neuf or hotel de ville. great!! just the room was a bit to small for that price, anyway, it will be our hotel again for the next paris trip.

Very cute Parisian Hotel centrally located. I traveled to Paris in November 2014 and wanted to stay in a typical Parisan hotel. It is an older hotel that could certainly be updated but the bed was comfortable and the staff were nice. My first room was very nice, overlooking the small street until the bar across the street got out... More

We stayed 3 nights in February 2015 and stayed in the hotel room more than in an usual citybreak since the weather in Paris was quite cold & windy. :) I booked the room 2 weeks before our stay directly on the hotels webpage and we've got a good offer compared to the standard rates. I understood that the rates... More

Very cute quintessential Parisian delight!! Lovely room, quiet location but very central. Gorgeous breakfast served in the cutest dining room by very quiet unseen staff. 24 hour Receptionists were always attentive and helpful and spoke some English which was great as my French was not good at all. We were in Paris for 7 nights and found this hotel to... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
