The hotel was really near two Metro station. Once we got there the lady at the front desk took really good care of us and pointes out on a map several location that we wanted to go. Two out of the three room we booked had a street view which was really nice and had really nice lighting during the... More

This small hotel has a friendly, helpful staff! The rooms are small (as expected), but nice and clean! Steps away from the subway with some great bistros in the area. It's not far from the opera house and Montmartre. Nothing but good things to say but one caution! Go to the street to hail a cab. If you ask the... More

Booked this hotel based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. Stayed here for 3 nights 5-8 January 2015. Was about a 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord and literally right next to the Metro 'Cadet' which has easy access to all the tourist bits around Paris and is on the same line as the... More

We haven't stayed in other Paris hotels, but this hotel seems like a little gem with a great location on a tiny street. We liked the easy metro access and enjoyed the restaurant across the street along with others within easy walking distance. The room was smaller than most we have stayed in, but we understand that is typical of... More

Our room was SO small. We had requested twin beds - but were allocated a double. When we asked to change - it was not possible. Our room was SO small with hardly any room for clothes. We had to stack our suitcases on top of one another. Fortunately we were there to see Paris - and the location was... More

The room I stayed is new and the staff is very helpful and kind. The location is excellent. There's a clothes dryer in the bathroom. You have the option to have breakfast in the room or in the cafeteria

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
