If you seek out the whole French experience - not an American-style French hotel, Terrass Hotel is a wonder! The hotel is lovely! The ambiance of Montmartre (I'll write another review about Montmartre) was wonderful. Don't bother eating in the hotel. Prices andquality of food at local cafes and bakeries are far superior. Local wine is excellent, too. Do see... more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights on a "city break" from london and found the Hotel to be excellent and can only concur/agree with the majority of previous comments. The breakfast (included in our booking) has a considerable range of hot and cold food, enough variety to make a couple of delicious sandwiches for lunch. Louis the Concierge... more

Stayed here several times now and it has to be our favorite Hotel in Paris. All the rooms are decorated differently and are all lovely, well equipped, comfortable and quite luxurious. The roof terrace, with the perfect views over Paris, is now open all afternoon for drinks etc. Also the ground floor bar is nice for a drink before heading... more

We stayed nights of 14 and 15 June. Whilst the location and the room and the breakfasts were wonderful, this all was marred by rather poor service. The air conditioning in our room [508] we found to be not working upon arrival. We were not informed of this beforehand and, when forced to ask reception, we were told without any... more

Just aside from the center of the charming Montmartre neighborhood, Terrass Hotel retains a style of classical elegance in an attractive building. My room was decorated in old fashioned floral prints and striped/floral wallpaper. A distant view of the Eiffel Tower was visible from my room. The size was cramped, but not surprising for an older Paris hotel. The property... more

We were in France for 12 days for our honeymoon; we stayed in Paris for 3 nights at Le Meurice (see review), then went to the Loire Valley for 3 nights, then back to Paris/ Terrass Hotel for the last 5 nights. Our trip was planned by a French travel coach in Michigan; she evidently booked us "the best room... more

We managed to get 3 nights in a "classic double" for £314 on expedia. Almost everything that I have to say about the hotel is positive. The classic room was great and had a really nice, decently sized bathroom. The only (minor) complaint about the room was that the air conditioning did not work. It did not appear to be... more

My girlfriend and I have just (yesterday) returned from a week in Paris, staying at the Terrass Hotel in Montmartre. Given that we had booked on line we were a bit nervous but I have to say that disappeared the moment we stepped through the door and were met by the wonderful staff. Check in went smoothly, we had been... more

We stayed here for a total of six nights in early May 2009. We searched for a long time for a nice hotel for a good value in Paris, and we ended up here after reading the reviews and finding a deal on Expedia (we got two nights free with the deal, making our cost about $150/night). We stayed in... more

Lovely place - classy hotel in a wonderful area. Our first trip Paris - we took advice from friends where to stay and Montmartre was suggested. A little bit away from the centre, 3 or 4 stops on the Metro, but with so much charm; all cobbled streets with open fronted bars and restaurants, as well as the Sacre Coeur.... more
