I never seen so small hotel rooms, small elevator, small coridors. Problem to fit to the lift with the luggage. And get in to the hotel. Smallest bedroom ever. Room very clean but the size... It is hard to exist in something like this. Especially with the child. I would not recommend. Even staff very friendly. Im not fusy but... More

Excellent location for botanic gardens (hence the name) and very good for Latin Quarter. Easy metro access and plenty of eateries on the doorstep. Breakfast unremarkable so you might do better finding local café. Room on the small side but thoughtfully laid out so no worries. Clean sheets, hot water, warm welcome.

when we booked as a last minute Xmas in Paris stay for my daughter and I, we didn't expect much other than a small scrubby rooms. We got the tiny plain rooms, But we were surprised by how nice the staff was. I had to do Xmas decor in the room for my girl to have a cheerful Christmas and... More

Very interesting location in Paris, closed to Quartier Latin, Notre Dame cathedral and Saint louis Island. Very quiet. But room too small, all is tiny, even toilets. This hotel is not for tall or corpulent people.

We thank you for your review. Our rooms have the parisian standard room size. The rooms are arranged in different ways so tall and corpulent are welcomed. As you mentioned our hotel is very well located. Metro is about 3 minutes by walk, Mouffetard street and its restaurant is just behind the hotel. The other parisian attractions are accesible fastly... More

This is a great location for a hotel... it is right near the latin quarter. Great restaurants nearby. The check in was defiantly not friendly whatsoever. I work for IHG so I know what to expect when arriving at a hotel. I understand that the check in at this hotel was 2pm. I arrived at the hotel around 11 am... More

We stayed four nights at this hotel. It is in a quieter location, but the metro stop is a five minute walk away. There is also a garden/zoo (Jardin de Plantes) right across the road. We didn't actually go there, but it looks like a good option if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet day in Paris with... More

Our hotel is situated in a very quiet area and close to the metro station. As you said we are in front of the Jardin des Plantes but also near the Jardin du Luxembourg, two beautiful gardens for a wonderful stay in family. More

We enjoyed the hotel and the daily breakfast. Especially loved the location across from the beautiful Jardin des Plantes and off the beaten path, but not too far from Rue Mouffetard and lots of shopping and restaurants! Funky little hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff.

For your next time do not forget to visit the tropical greenhouse with the zoo and the natural history museum. And getting to Mouffetard Street just stop to drink a coffee at Place de la Contrescarpe. More

We had recently stayed for a nights in the Timhotel. The area it is in seems like a good and quiet area but it's also close to the Metro station (3min) walk. So it is not too much hassle to get around. The rooms are however very small. We had booked a double room and there was hardly any space... More

The location is lovely as it is only two blocks from the metro (7 and 10 lines, about 15/20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, 5 from Notre Dame and Le Louvre) and by the Jardin des Plantes. The beds are hard, the bathroom tiny, and the tub is slightly molded. The breakfast is decent, so that's nice. They are currently... More

Restaurants and a small Carre Four close-by. Subway sandwich same block. Generally poorly maintained. Maids enter room even with 'do not disturb' sign up and TV on. No eggs for breakfast, but jamon(ham) rolled up, croissants, yogurt, coffee, basic. Firmer bed in my room. This time the staff were more interactive than two years ago. A/C worked pretty good. No... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
