My friend and I wanted somewhere close to the main icons of Paris for our two day stay. This hotel was perfect. Easy walking to Notre Dame, Pont Neuf and Louvre. Excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel staff very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed the central location in the latin quarter, with Notre Dame some 5 min away by foot - as are 3 different metro stations. The staff at the reception was very attentive and friendly - making us feel really welcome. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, quiet, and (for the "standard" size) well designed... More

I was a bit apprehensive at first staying a little distance away from the city centre, however the metro station is only 2 minute away and the area from what I saw in the evening and day time was very safe! The street this is on is very quite and easy to find, I had no issues and the staff... More

With a warm welcome accompanied by some helpful tips for the best metro lines and buses to use, this hotel proved to be a great location to explore the latin quarter of Paris. Unlike London, being south of the river proved to be quiet and pretty, surrounded by a variety of lovely cafes. Whilst the room was clean and had... More

Andrea at the front desk sets the tempo for a delightful stay. Room was cool, comfortable, and just close to all sorts of neighborhood offerings including a little farmer's market set up to offer perfect strawberries, cheeses, freshly baked breads, fresh squeezed orange juice...a little bit of heaven. Good shops for picking up items like sunscreen, a quality hairbrush, and... More

We stayed at Jardin de Cluny for a long weekend with friends. The location is perfect for seeing the sights of Paris - all within walking distance. The hotel is quiet, just back from the busy hustle and bustle. Rooms are comfortable and clean, if a little small. Highly recommended and we'll certainly return on our next visit to Paris.

I'm all about location and this hotel has it. Shopping. Metro. Museums. Grand old churches. Food of all types. Local stuff. Night life. Check out a map. It's important when your walking 5 miles a day to be close to some of the stuff. The place is basic but upgraded very nicely. Everything worked and the small spaces were configured... More

The location of this hotel was amazing. A few blocks from Notre Dame and just as close to the Luxemburg Gardens. 3 metro stations within close walking distance. Our room had free wifi and air conditioning. Large shower room, 2 closets and a separate water closet. Also a queen size bed, great for a couple without kids for the week!!... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
