If you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city and you don't mind slightly dated facilities this hotel is a great choice, at a fabulous location. When you step outside the hotel and look right, you see the Eiffel tower rising above you. There are great cafes nearby. My favorite is Cafe Du Marche on Rue Clear.... More

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. Small intimate rooms decorated with flowered wallpaper. Very comfortable beds, free television. The hotel tasty and affordable breakfast, nice and friendly hotel service, the opportunity to talk in English. More

The St. Dominique is an intimate hotel in an excellent location within walking distance of most important sites in Paris. It is close to several Metro stops that connect with the rest of Paris. It is also near an excellent local restaurant,La Poule au Pot at 161 Rue de la Universite which few tourists have discovered. Hotel staff are friendly... More

when I travel I want to meet people polite and warm. In Saint Dominique I didn't find polite and nice people. The hotel is in a nice position (but don't eat and have breakfast in rue saint dominique... they take advantage of tourists), it is clean and confortable. They never say bonsoir or bonjour to you and that is important... More

I know this area as I used to live there and popped back the hotel on a business trip this time. Its a great location and really cute. No its not 5star, but its not a 5 star price either. My room was large and opened out onto a terrace which was charming. I was worried as the windows opened... More

This hotel is definitely not luxury, but we didn't expect it to be so our expectations were met. It was cheap and close to the Eiffel Tower. You can see the Eiffel if you stick your head out the window. The rooms are clean. There is a fridge in the room. The shower had some tiles missing and the decor... More

If you aren't willing to shell out the dough to stay at the King George V, then you're going to have a similar experience just about anywhere. This particular hotel has close to no charm, its cramped, and it cannot possibly accommodate simple requests. Having said that, thats not a problem with the hotel, its a problem with the destination.... More

Check the room first to see if it up to your standards. The location is superb, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Our room was so hot we had to open the windows to cool it down. The bathroom door would not operate properly so modesty was thrown to the wolves. The elevator will not work if... More

We are not trying to be mean and we are not over exagerating. Imagine staying in a room for 5 nights with no air condition during the summer nor any form of ventilation except your window in chich you must find ways of closing it since everyone could peer into your room, I doubt this is a good place to... This hotel was great. It was located right near the Effiel tower in Invalides. The staff were fantastic and very very helpful. If you are an American in Paris this is a great choice since the staff will help you figure out everything you need. They are very patient and polite. But, watch out for the beds. A single bed...
