Could not find a single fault with this hotel. Had previously had an unpleasant experience at another hotel in Paris but this definitely made up for it. Location was superb, less than 50 metres from Vaneau Metro Station and close to a lot of attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and always there to help you in whatever way they... More

In general this hotel was really nice, for a weekend break. As i mentioned before, i have just 2 complaints regarding the internet connection (was really bad) and some noise during the night (but not that much).

This hotel was one of our favorites in paris because we used to live on this street, and our parents would stay there when they came to visit us. We stayed in the hotel last July with our daughter and it was very pleasant. Now unfortunately, they have forced us to cancel our reservation because they stated that french law... More

Clean, quiet, very reasonably priced for the location. Nice staff. Metro station nearby, as well as nice restaurants. We came in the winter for Christmas; it was cold outside but we were able to adjust the temperature of the room, which made it very comfortable.

This is a boutique hotel in a nice fairly central neighborhood in Paris. The room was clean and quiet, and they have extremely nice Nuxe bath and body amenities. I thought it was a very good value for the quality and location. I didn't pay for breakfast - there are plenty of places to grab a delicious croissant and coffee... More

We booked two nights at Vaneau Saint Germain which was a couple of Metro stops further out than we normally stay but we got much more value! Nicer room, bigger room than our last few hotels in Paris. Both restaurants we dined at were great (Chez Germaine and Oudinet). The only annoyance was they had just switch from Aircon mode... More

This was my second stay at this boutique hotel. I arrived early Sunday morning. I was greeted enthusiastically, told my room was ready and handed a cup of coffee. I love this place. In the Seventh, half a block from the metro, lots of nice restaurants and shops, easy walk to everywhere. At night its a quiet residential neighborhood which... More

Stayed 3 nights in Oct'15. Lovely boutique style hotel, great location very close to Metro station. Room was charming and very clean with tea & coffee amenities and free wifi. It was a bit overheated for our liking my only complaint. The staff at reception were very welcoming and most helpful with directions, and advise on what to see as... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
