Half a block from the metro. Great restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Easy walk to the Seine and attractions. Stayed here for 2.5 weeks. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and lovely staff. Great price. Only downside was the temperament of the elevator and we got a 20 Euro discount for days it was down. It's a clean, reasonably priced basic... More

After negotiating the metro and changing trains after lugging our suitcases up and down three sets of stairs, we emerged from the last station to find this hotel only a 100 m from the station entrance This hotel is a pleasant oasis in a hectic Paris and a great place for exploring the Parisienne sights (mostly accessible by foot or... The staff was very friendly. We stayed two nights and enjoyed a nice breakfast both mornings before venturing out. The street noise is a little loud, but otherwise no complaints. This hotel was walking distance to both the Effeil Tower and Notre Dame.

I would come back here without even looking around. This is only the first hotel review I've ever written but I believe in credit where it is due. We booked the hotel at short notice coming in by train from Munich and looking at the dearth of options available in Paris at such late notice were expecting to stay somewhere... More

We stayed 8 nights in this great little hotel. It was central to lots of attractions and there was 3 metro stations within 3 minutes walk. Many little bakeries around the location and places to eat. Room was spacious for Paris, we had king singles plus another smaller bed for our 11 year old, plus enough room for our luggage.... More

After having lived in Paris a number of years ago, I wanted to stay in my old arrondissement with my husband and 7yo son. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and we stayed in the larger room on the 6th floor (601). The room was a nice size with a "makeshift" king (two singles pushed together) and a... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone that wants somewhere central and affordable - and that is several grades better than a hostel! I would note however don't get the breakfast - it is overpriced and there are many supermarkets, bakeries and cafes minutes walk away where you'll... More

We stayed here as a family of 3 for four nights august 2014 and were really pleased with our stay. The hotel is fairly local to main attractions. We had booked a triple room but due to a slight booking issue were give a double and single room next to each other - these were great rooms. Airy and spacious... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
