The Rooms were in an amazing location! It was close to a subway station (5 min walk) and close to Rue Cler which has a good selection of places to eat (5 min). I'm not sure there is a better location in Paris. The rooms themselves were basic- Small (which is normal for the location), the elevator holds 2 people,... More

It was the business visit to the place and fortunately got two days to hang out in Paris. I was luckily enough to choose this boutique property. Best location based and near to Eiffel Tower so you can easily find the best available option to eat out. Easy access to all trams, tube trains and local sightseeing places and very... More

found this little hotel by sheer accident .....and it proved to be lovely. Basic hotel and lacks things like tea/coffee making facilties but everything else was great. Lift tiny and only fitted 2 people in with a case and that was a squeeze but it wouldnt put me off going again. Room was on the 5th floor with a fantastic... More

Small hotel near the Eiifel Toer. Very well situated. Near rue Le Cler which is full of little restautants, shops. Near metro Ecole Militaire which takes you to Les Champs Elysee, les grands magasins etc. And 2 or 3 buses are also located just down the, street. The hotel itself is Not bad.. The rooms are a little small, but most... More

Booked this hotel for it's proximity to the metro and the Eiffel Tower. I did not request a particular floor, but was pleased with a room that looked out onto street. The room is indeed very compact, and for two people it was a bit much for both of us to move around at the same time. The wall paper... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for my 30th birthday. Booked the hotel months ago and emailed them directly in may asking if I could reserve a room with an Eiffel Tower view as it was a special visit. Had a reply from Elissa saying it was reserved for the 3rd or 4th floor with a view and that they couldn't... More

Just returned from a three night stay at the Derby Eiffel. It is definitely compact and bijou but is very clean and well presented. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast is basic and the rooms lack a tea/coffee making facilities but we had a lovely stay and would certainly stay again. Could benefit from free wifi... More

Located in E'cole Militaire area of Paris. Across the street from metro. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Champs D'Ellyses, and other highlights. Cafes all around. Can see the Eiffel from hotel. Small but very comfy hotel. Our bedroom was small but the bathroom was large and very modern. Great buffet breakfast served in morning.

I recently visited this hotel for a two day trip to Paris with my partner. We had a wonderful time and the hotel was just perfect for what we needed. We had a lot to fit in, only having two days in paris, but we definitely made the most of the hotel. We nicknamed it "Fawlty towers" because of the... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
