We went to Paris with a family group of 14, found the staff very unfriendly from the moment we arrived. We made use of the bar but felt like we were bring a nuisance for even asking for a drink, all he kept asking was "are you going to bed now"!! Rooms were clean but exceptionally small, although our friend... More

No problem with the hotel itself , but the rooms are very small, we upgraded to a superior room but was still very small and the smallest elevator ever, lol. Location ok to get to Eiffel Tower but I think i would have been better with a hotel closer to the river Seine. A lot easier to get to everything... More

Stayed in April and really enjoyed the hotel. Staff very friendly and reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful. If I ever go back to Paris this is where I would stay. Stayed in room 31 which was just next to the lift. Lovely room (very warm). Just wish that they had coffee and tea making facilities, they... More

Good Location, 10-15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and 5-10 minutes to the Metro. Good selection of local bars/eateries nearby. Continental Breakfast, serving fresh Croissants, selection of cold meats, yoghurts & Cheese. We got a room at the back of the hotel, which was quiet, but the only view was of the apartments opposite. Room had a TV, Safe, Mini... More

The air conditioning had a timer, so it went off every 30 min. the rooms were very very small, the hair dryer didnt work. The night before leaving, the hour changed and they didnt even bother to give us a reminder, so we missed our flight. Wont stay there again

Having toured around France for the past 12 days, we took a train from Lyon and ended up in the Gare de Lyon train station some 2 hours later. My mum and I simply jumped onto a waiting cab and some 15-20 mins and 17 euros later, arrived at the Hotel Derby Eiffel. Had chosen this hotel for two main... More

Cons - Tiny rooms, had to pay for wifi, room next to lift so very noisy. Curtain pole fell down, wrong type of nails used, dangerous! Receptionist unpleasant, a smile wouldn't hurt! Pros - location to eiffel tower was excellent, just make sure you ask for a room with a view otherwise you'll be looking into someone else's room! Bathrooms... More

Our first impressions were mixed, when we arrived at the hotel we were met by a rather disgruntled receptionist who was not very friendly at all. He didn’t want to speak to us for while even though we were the only ones there. After a couple of minutes another guy came along who was completely opposite, he was very chatty,... More

My husband and I stayed here last summer for three nights. This was our second trip here. We stayed here again because of the fabulous location and the great service and rooms. Very special location. On a quiet street with views of the Eiffel tower. Unbeatable.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Our arriving flight changed and we had to cancel our first night, they allowed us to cancel upon explanation of the situation. Rooms are small by American standards but nicely furnished and clean.
