The Christmas lights on the Champs Elyses are spectacular. As you enter the hotel, you are greeted in English by an outstanding staff. It is assumed that you are American. The location is just like 5th Ave in New York: Upscale, fashionable and expensive. The hotel is elegant, relatively small, and rather old. There was an old-building-smell in the room... More

There is no way this hotel consider itself 5*. Most of the clientele is from Middle East and so is the breakfast. Rooms are old, small with filthy feeling. Very bad that the rooms are not well sound proofed..can hear people above having shower and moving around.Below average hotet that should reconsider their 5* rating based ONLY on location.

Dear Traveler89991, Thank you for your feedback which I assure you we have all taken to heart. It was truly concerning to read your comments about your recent stay with us in Paris. I feel sorry that your room was too small for you but our rooms are from 30square meters that is pretty big Paris. Moreover, I was sorry... More

Marriott was wonderful! Great location on an amazing and iconic street. Concierge was amazing and nothing but kind and helpful with helping us decide everything from where to have dinner to the top must sees of Paris. Room was clean and everything well kept! Will stay again!

My husband took me to Paris for 5 nights using his Marriott rewards points. I read other reviews with guests having horrible experiences because they used points. I can say very clearly that the staff at the Marriott did not discriminate against us at all and in fact went out of their way to accommodate us. The front desk was... More

Let me start by saying that 2 of my girlfriends stayed at this hotel, and though I had rented an apartment, I was at this hotel multiple times a day and experienced the rooms, the dining, service, and lobby - I did everything but sleep there. We were in Paris to celebrate a milestone birthday for one of my friends... More

It was our first time in Paris for our 36th Anniversary and we were very happy with our stay. First the staff was very friendly and never failed to address us. Our room was larger than expected and very clean and comfortable. Our check-in was great and the receptionist that checked us in was so sweet. We already were warned... More

My travel agent booked the hotel, when I receive the credit card charge they charge my card an extra 1,000 euros. They refunded the amount, however I found out that they do not post the charge in Euros. Beware, This Marriott hotel in Paris uses a exchange rate company called Fintrax. They charged a higher exchange rate than my Visa... More

Large room and in Paris that's hard to find. Great helpful staff. Clearly designed with Americans in mind and that's nice after a day of touring in a foreign land. Super location for the subway. Great large bathroom with separate shower and tub. I would stay again.

Had a fantastic room overlooking Champs Elysee. One particular receptionist was very good and helpful but others were not. The same with customer service. Bar, breakfast and room cleaning staff were very unfriendly and almost ''couldn't care less'. Breakfast was horrendous - very difficult to get someone's attention for even tea! Things ran out and took too long to be... More

We picked this hotel since it was our first trip to Paris and we wanted to stay in an easy to navigate area. It was very close to the Metro and within walking distance to almost everything. Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
