A wonderful little hotel very close (within walking distance - and we're not terribly athletic) to the Trocadero area, Effiel Tower. This was our first trip to Europe and we weren't sure what to expect, except small rooms. And while, the rooms were small they were big enough for us and very comfortable. Besides, we were in Paris!! We weren't... More

I was really concerned with finding a hotel that'd be quiet, bearing in mind we wanted to stay in the centre of Paris - this was perfect as it was off Avenue Kleber (one of the big roads going off the Arc du Triomphe towards the Trocadero) and also set back from the road so there was little to no... Booked as a surprise birthday treat for my husband. For location this is a great little hotel tucked down a side street off Kleber Avenue close to the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee about a 10 min walk to either. Boissiere metro station is just 2 mins walk around the corner from the hotel. Also because of the location of... More

The hotel location is perfect, near by Trocadéro and Champs Elysées with subway station at 2 mn walk. The hotel is clean, the rooms are neat and quiet as the hotel gives on a inside courtyard. Our room was on the back and a bit dark but as we were spending our days outside anyway, it really did not matter.... More

My wife and I stayed 4 nights here and had a great experience. Great location next to the Boissiere metro stop and HOHO bus stop(do not recommend!), 1 minute walk to a grocery, less than a 5 minute walk to Trocadero which has one the best views of the Effel Tower, 12 minute walk to the Effel Tower. I always... More

Loved the Garden Elysee Hotel! A quiet hotel in the heart of Paris within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Located on a side street off the busy Avenue Kleber with a front courtyard giving it a nice "tucked away" feel. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and very helpful.... More

Close to a metro stop and within a short walk to The Arc Du Triomph, this modern and comfortable Hotel is well located in a quiet side street. The staff were very warm and welcoming and the Hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was comfortable (especially the beds) and a good size. However, there was a slight disturbance from the... More

Had a great 2 night (3 day) break in Paris. It was my first visit to Paris and wanted a hotel close to Eiffel tower, as I have always wanted to go up! This hotel was 10 minutes away and 10 minutes the other way Arc De Triomphe. We had the superior room which was only a little more and... More

difficult to believe the tenor of these reviews after my stay with colleagues. Ok so it is well located and relatively quiet. the staff are helpful and forthcoming with suggestions. but the decor is showing its age and the rooms are frayed and getting tatty. perhaps for this reason the place was full of workmen during my visit, which didn't... 10 minute walk from both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. My partner and I were really impressed with the Garden Elysee Hotel. Set back from the road it was a really quiet location which one would not expect being so central in Paris. Just a two minute walk from the Boisiere Metro station and very close to... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
