Just returned from this hotel with my boyfriend yesterday... The staff were so friendly and always helped you with where to go and what to do, drawing out on the map etc for you thanks to the staff we enjoyed staying in this hotel. Hotel is about 2 mins from underground making it easy to explore paris but in saying... More

The hotel came up as one of the options with a Eurostar package. The room was compact, but clean, with one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. The staff were available 24 hours and were friendly and helpful. A buffet breakfast was available with enough of a selection to get you going for a day's touristing.... More

Bathroom was particularly shabby with no shower curtain and a mixer shower hose that would only work if you held it up with one hand whilst washing yourself with the other as it was plastic and if you put it in the shower nozzle holder on the wall it bent so would not pass any water for washing. The towels... More

I am the type of person who, when on a cruise, would take an average room as I know I would spend most of my waking hours exploring and having fun. Using the same concept I was seeking a combination of location and amenities. Hotel Armstrong delivered! It's a solid budget choice for Paris. Located a mere 2 blocks from... More

Fine location, especially if you intend to use the metro a lot. Staff spoke enough English for us non-French speakers to make requests and get help. Shuttle service between hotel and airport was efficient.

We stayed for four nights on a budget. Great hotel. Great staff. Great breakfast. Great location, very close to metro. There's a 24hr bakery across the road and a great cafe/restaurant/bar on the corner (can't remember the name of it). Would highly recommend it!

Stayed here for 5 days with 2 friends. Hotel is quite hard to find from the station. Surrounding area is quite dodgey to say the least, with homeless people & beggars around. The staff at the hotel seemed irritated to have to speak English to guests & they hardly ever smiled or offered much assistance to any of our requests.... More

My friends and I went to Paris for New Years and because we were on a tight budget we stayed at Hotel Armstrong. I would definitely visit this hotel again as it's cheap and has easy access to all the major attraction from the subway close by. The rooms were small but was expected, the kitchenette area was well equipped,... More
