I was last at this hotel two years ago and I was pleased that little had changed. The hotel is situated in the busy Montparnasse area of Paris with many cafes, restaurants and cinemas in the neighbourhood. Our fourth floor room was of reasonable size and had a well appointed bathroom. I would recommend a room on the fourth or... More

Location is good - right behind Montparnasse tower. Good transport location - 4 metro lines and more bus lines. Up to 30 min walk to center. Hotel is small and cozy. Room was quiet, but small. Bed is comfortable. Room and bath are clean. Sometimes even at 3rd floor vibrations caused by metro trains occured.

Positioned just outside Montparnasse-Bienvenue metro stop (line 4 from Gare du Nord). Lots of cafés nearby, but quiet room nonetheless. Very nicely decorated, comfy bed, spacious clean bathroom. We got breakfast at the cafés outside which are a good price if you are after something quick. I had no problems with the free wifi.

Good location - two steps from metro, by the Galeries Lafayette. Small, but very clean and dissent room. Very unstable Internet. Good price. Exceptional staff. My wife in love with the owner Madame Dominique.

I spent three nights at Eduard with my daughter June 2.-5. Our room was a little bit small but clean and really quiet. The breakfast was delicious, only 13€, you had enough choisis. The service was excellent. When my daughter got sick, I was helpt immediately to take my child to a doctor. I got also lot of ideas what... More

Hotel: Stayed there from May 28th - June 2nd on the 5th floor. Like many others we were hesitant to get breakfast outside. Yes outside had two fried egg, one small coffee and small piece of bread but it comes to €13 with tax and tips. Paid same money had everything except there wasn't fried egg or bacon but boiled... The location of the hotel was fantastic ! Close to everything you would want/need. The staff was very helpful. The room was perfect. Lovely view of the city from the room's balcony. Room was very clean and the bathroom was exceptional. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room though. We were on the fifth floor... More

This hotel was the perfect fit for me, as I was traveling solo and wanted to explore the city. Subway station is just feet away from the hotel entrance and a short ride to the Eiffel Tower & other major tourist attractions. The surrounding area is very lively as well. Also, I got very sick a few nights into my... More

This hotel is quite small, but absolutely wonderful. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly without being intrusive, the room (despite the dated 1980's decor) was clean and well lit. The location was fantastic: easy walking distance to Eiffel Tower, close to subway and bike hire stations. I would recommend this place provided you go understanding that the room is... More

The narrow entrance is welcoming. It does not show the quality of the rest of this well-appointed hotel. Rooms are small but still have space for moving around. The bathroom was large in comparison, well worthwhile. The breakfast in the cellar is in an impressive high ceiling cave, very comfortable.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
