A very comfortable bed, clean but need of renovation. Friendly staff, good and tasty breakfast. In Paris was 28C on the day of my visit; no air-condition, I asked why not, one of the guys said because it is summer. I hope I heard it wrong... There is a nice St Martin Canal and Parc Villem in the neighbourhood.

Location of the hotel was near to the nord and L'est stations and a metro station. So commute to the main attractions was not a problem. The room was small and it was a bit tough to put our buggy inside the room. However because of the provisions that the hotel has provided for placing the luggage we managed to... More

Hotel Ibis gare de l'Est is located at the best possible place - very close to the main train lines and metro and at the same time in the small street to avoid too much noise. Beds are just great and staff so friendly to guarantee you the best possible customer experience. I can recommend it for every kind of... More

I was here with my daughter on a school trip so this was already chosen for us by tour group. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The train station was right next door. If you go up to the top floor you can see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night - or at... More

Absolutely no problems with this hotel, very good for metro and just over the road from a pleasant bar/restaurant. Under a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar. There was a morning rush for the self service breakfast but we obtained seats easily enough.

We were very satisfied by the hotel and hotel staff. Great location, only 2 minutes walk distance to Gare de l'Est and metrostation. The rooms are spacious enough and surprisingly clean. The members of staff at the reception speak english and german (and may be some other languages, I do not know) and were very helpful and kind. There is... More

I liked the location of this hotel for either walking around or hoppong on the Metro. It is located on a quiet side street. The hotel has a sister hotel directly across the street. That is where we actually took our breakfast. My AC did not work the first night and they brought me a fan immediately and the AC... More

I stayed at this hotel on a city break in August. The hotel was ok as long as I did'nt spend much time in the room as it was very small, and the bathroom was also small with such thin towels you could hardly dry yourself so take your own! However, the bed was comfortable and the room quite clean.... More
