In Paris you can't expect a lot for your money, so this basic Ibis was fine. Also, it is close to Gare du Nord, the station where you catch the Eurostar to London. However, we booked a twin and, upon arrival, were told by Julien, a junior staff member, that this was not possible, despite the confirmed booking. When the... More

It is many years since we stayed in this hotel and it is perfectly placed for a short visit to Paris. The Gare du Nord area is not the most salubrious, but is no worse than any other station area, as most tourists will be aware that such proximity to a station can have its downside. You could not get... More

Good location next to Gare Du Nord. But just beware of your own safety around this area. Hotel was redecorate from old building and hence the design is nice, max cap for lift is 2 person, interesting! Hotel room is roomy and clean. It has all the facility that it needs. Reception Staff is a bit cool and lack of... More

Stayed here for three nights beginning of July. Room on top floor was very light and airey with Juliet Balcony. Air Con much needed in the high heat and was more than adequate. The shower room was small but had great shower. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a French Hotel. The ladies on hand were... More

Small room but close to the train station. Very quiet easy to walk to some restaurants. We were there during taxi strike so street was full of taxis. Breakfast was okay and there was a good choice. Staff were polite and helpful, there isno parking at this hotel so if you have a car choose another hotel.

We booked this hotel due to its close proximity to the gare du nord railway station which hosts the eurostar train back to UK. It's a very busy part of the city and you could easily overlook the entrance to the hotel. It seemed one of the more lively areas of Paris and probably not a place for a stroll... More

The rooms were as one expects of Ibis- small and basic. But for the price I thought a few more niceties may've been included. There were six of us in 2 rooms- each room with a rollaway. For the money we paid, an apartment would've been better but we only stayed one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More
