We stayed 3 nights (Friday-Sunday). Staff were really helpful, but very stretched and one person seemed to be running the whole thing most of the time. Just yards from Gare Du Nord and the metro, on all the bus routes with loads of lower quality eateries all around. Now an IBIS and undergoing renovations in March 2014 but these did... More

Good value for the money! I recently spent 4 nights and was happy with the accommodations. Standard european room, relatively small but a comfortable bed and lots of channels on the flat screen TV. My room had a small balcony overlooking the city so it was a plus. They are renovating floor by floor but the hotel is quiet when... More

This is a standard hotel which provides a room and bed for the night. If you intend spending your time in Paris visiting sights, or shopping and simply need somewhere to rest your head this hotel will suffice. It does have a restaurant which looked quite appealing but I didn't use it. Two points to recommend this hotel is that... More

Less than 100 yards from the main entrance of the Gare Du Nord train station and less than 50 yards from the Metro, this hotel has the perfect location for travellers. Yes, the hotel is old but we found it very, very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and appreciated our (basic) efforts to communicate in French with... More

Hotel Gare du Nord is in an excellent location, just a short stroll form Gare du Nord station so excellent if you travel to Paris by train. The hotel is basic but comfortable. The room we had was front facing and quite small, butperfectly adequate. There was a good shower in the bathroom. The service was very good, everything we... More

The hotel was very good and convinient for us. The location was perfect as it was near the train station. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good however the variety of food could be improved. Overall, a good hotel for what you pay.

The hotel is very convenient to Gare du Nord but there is nothing else to be said for the neighborhood. Front desk staff was inefficient and slow but reasonably helpful.(all happily switched to English when I attempted French), My room had been recently renovated and was no smaller than expected - very nicely appointed in a modern style. Since I... More

Perfect for us for arriving and departing without a lot of hassle or the need to change stations. It is within walking distance (a block or so) from Gare Du Nord so wheeling luggage wasn't a problem. The hotel could use a face lift, the room was typically small but clean and quiet, bathroom was small as well. There wasn't... More

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions as it is handy for the Gare du Nord and therefore to the Stade de France. This stay was not the best! We were booked for 3 nights at the end of November and given room 104, adjacent the stairs and near the lift (which we were told was broken but... More

I paid 70 euros per night, so I got Room 202, which had to be the smallest room in the whole hotel and right next to the lift. The hotel wasn't crowded, so noise was not a problem, but could be a major issue in high season. The staff was not particularly helpful in finding anything for you, twice I... More
