We hoped this hotel would be better than the average 3* Paris offering, but results were mixed. The room was comparatively spacious and the bathroom was ok. This hotel is by far not the worst I have ever stayed at. Of course, you should not expect extras like a sewing kit or shoe polish cloth, but the rooms are clean and warm, the breakfast is good, and our room was not noisy. I had the pleasure of spending a few nights at the Mercure Chateau Landon in Oct. 2003. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bath is big by American standards.
