We stayed 1 night, the staff seemed friendly and the room satisfactory but after the airport lost one of our suitcases we had to leave and we notified the hotel of the situation. 2 days after checkout we are informed that this hotels night clerk accepted our lost luggage and after we contacted them about our luggage, they said they'd... Dear Guest, We regret all what is happening to you but you forgot to mention that you lost your luggage(not the company) and took someone else's luggage at the airport. I personnaly helped you making phone calls upon your arrival without charging you anything so you didn't have to make any expensive phone calls for your telephone . I called... More

We stayed in the family suite and out of the 5 cities we visited during our European trip, this was our favorite hotel! The suite was perfect for our family of 5 because the hotel was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the service was top-notch! When I booked the hotel, I spoke with Nicky and she was wonderful! While... More

Located just steps from Metro stop, also a fair stroll to 1st arr. and right bank of Seine, with all that has to offer. (Mostly) attentive English-fluent staff. Well-stocked breakfast buffet. I did get a very good deal over-all thru online booking. Managed to cut my right index finger on bathroom-door catch, which is simply too sharp. Thought I might... More

We chose this hotel based on other trip advisor reviews. The hotel is fairly small, lovpcated a few steps away from a very busy street. The distance helps to make the hotel quiet. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the front desk - there are only a handful of employees and they seem to quickly get to know... More

very clean hotel in good location. Room is a good size for Paris and bathroom spacious too. It would be good if there was more shelf space. Breakfast really good value with variety of food for continental buffet. Outside shutters on windows worked a treat as it was dark and quiet....perfect. I would stay here again.

Overall we felt that it represented pretty poor value. The room was on the small side. The aircon was too noisy to use and couldn't be fixed on a Sunday so lucky it wasn't too hot. The tiny overworked elevator broke down and there was no male staff member (at all) to bring bags downstairs which caused some bad feeling.... More

Not knowing Paris, it was difficult to know which neighborhood to select. This hotel is near a metro stop (Bonne Nouvelle) that got my daughter and myself just about anywhere. The Opera is about a 15 minute walk. The Louvre is 15 in another direction. It is in a neighborhood that we found to have many restauants. As you walk... More

Do not stay at this hotel. Awful neighborhood, making my children very uncomfortable. When we attempted to check out early, staff threatened to call the police if we didn't pay for the entire week. Go anywhere but the Hotel des Comedies.

The room was rather small especially the bathroom which was a bit of a tight squash! The location was good--near Le Marais which was a great place to go and not as crowded as other tourist areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location meant that the shops and cafes around the hotel were cheaper than in the... More

In a great location and really quiet considering it is just around the corner from the main road. Hop on Hop off bus stop 1 min from Hotel on main rd. Breakfast was nice the usual European breakfast. Many restaurants close by. Yes I would stay again if ever in Paris.
