- Abotel Garden Opera Hotel Paris

This place was listed as a three star. It clearly is not. What it is though, is a cute little hotel with a very friendly staff in the middle of a neighbourhood which, at night, is fantastic. During the day this area can become a bit intense, especially for women and I wouldn't recommend staying there alone. However there were...

Hotel has a good location, about 100 meters from metro and bus stop, as well as it is very close to Gare del Est (Eastern railway station). The rooms are clean and every room has wifi signal. The rooms are quite small, maybe a little bit too small and poorly equiped with old furniture. TV in the room has only...

I got this place for $90/night near Gare de Est, which is a pretty good deal for Paris. The showers did not drain properly due to some clogging but otherwise a good stay. Neighborhood is sketchy (and noisy!) and seems dangerous, however, it's only a 100 meter walk from the metro stop. Internet was good. Definitely not worth more than...

Quality of the hotel was at the minimum level, unacceptable for what we paid (160eur/night single room). Furniture /bathroom are old and decayed Moquette was old and dirty Waiters at breackfast room was having breackfast at the same time of the guests, all the table full of finished breackfasts. It was a terrible experience
Due to unforseen in circumstances, I got stuck in Paris without a hotel during a very busy conference week. I booked this hotel only because it was one of the few still available for under 200 euros.
It was wildly overprices - more like a hostel. To say the room was basic would be an understatement.. Paper-thin walls - I...

We stayed in this hotel to be a little closer to CDG--and we liked the price. The street is sketchy at best (concern about personal safety)--however, it is close to the Metro. The towels were ready for the rag heap--and the rooms are very shabby. I think the sheets were clean--but the spreads were dirty. I would give both of...

Being on a budget, and with the Expo happening so that all rooms were available, I had no choice but to book this hotel.
Really didn't enjoy this hotel.
There were 4 beds in a triple room, but nowhere else to stand.
The door locked me into the room. I had to call reception to unlock me (a known problem...

The rooms are very small and very dirty (what sort of hotel doesn't provide bins in a room?!) If you manage to avoid the bugs crawlling around the room during the day, then you are sure to encounter them (or should I say bitten by them) at night. We are now back in the UK with allergic reactions to the...

ok, the rooms are small and the bathrooms don't allow you to dry after a shower so you do this in the bedroom but for the price you cannot really complain. Location is great, quite quiet at night, reasonable breakfast, polite staff , and there is a great bar on the corner with beet at 4 euros a pint !!!....
