Room was clean and well presented. Quiet and convenient location. Handy to metro with good restaurants close by. Female reception staff were friendly, males were not. Safe location with some interesting shops closely.

I come to Paris once or twice a year and I've stayed at a lot of hotels and bnb's - the Comfort Inn Mouffetard is by far the most centrally located, well appointed and most welcoming! I was a little worried about this being a Comfort Inn but it is hands down nice for a €110 hotel. It was quiet... More

What a great hotel. First of all, it's the location, just perfectly situated for exploring Paris. A great hotel in a safe, bustling area. The Latin quarter has a ton of restaurants, bars, shops and local French cuisine. You could spend a great morning wandering the cobbled streets. Despite all the restaurants in Paris we found ourselves coming back to... More

It's a little bit difficult to find this small but beautiful hotel from the medieval surroundings of rue Mouffetard. It has many advantages for the traveler: it is perfectly situated, it offers substantial breakfasts, rooms are clean, calm and small, beds are excellent and Wi-Fi functions quite well. The lady at the desk was super kind and observant. Night porter... More

Quiet, unassuming hotel with friendly staff, nice rooms and on a lovely pedestrian street that comes alive at night. Worth booking the continental buffet breakfast as it fills you up for a day of sightseeing.

This hotel was a real delight -- friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, free wi-fi. a great continental breakfast buffet (closes sharply at 10:00!) with three kinds of juice, fruit cocktail, croissants, bread for toast, ham, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, cold cereal, and good coffee. We stayed here twice for two nights each in October and found the rooms... More

This stay was so quietly sneaky, I didn't even realize how upset I was until I was at the airport to head home. After four hours of being ignored or snapped at by French speakers who were less than impressed by my attempts at their language, getting on the wrong side of the Metro, and being just generally lost, we... The area of the Comfort Hotel was a great choice - clean room. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was nice (8/10). Rue Mouffetard has several fountains shops and restaurants worth a visit. Our best meal in Paris was the restaurant immediately next door to the hotel (tres romantique).

This was another business trip for me and selecting this hotel seemed to be a good choice at the time. Apart from great location in the Quartier Latin, the hotel itself has limited offerings. The room I got was in a separate part of the building and it was very small, but had a comfy bed. The bathroom was even... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
