This hotel pretty much only provides a bed and bathroom, the room was VERY small and the bathroom door actually hit our bed, didn't open all the way. Very dormish feeling. The breakfast was okay, served the same thing every day. The only plus to staying here was the wonderful and lively neighborhood and all the lil cafes. Wonderful cafes... More

We stayed in Paris for a few nights in early July 2015, so for us it was just a bed and bathroom, and that's pretty much all it is. The room is very small, and if you have luggage it makes it even smaller, the windows also open inwards so you basically have to climb over the bed to get... More

Well, as the most of you said, the location of this place is the main (if not only) reward! Rooms far too small for two, bathrooms (are they even ROOMS?) are incredibly tiny (UNBELIEVABLE!), the air-condition system does not work (and they know that, for sure, while the tiny-tany table is already occupied by a large fan!), refrigerator is COOKING... My wife and 2 young teenage daughters stayed here for 4 nights in June 2015. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and we travel the world. Had a reservation for 2 rooms, they put us on the 1st flr and the girls on the 5th. We said that was unreasonable since we did not want our girls that far... More

I typically never write reviews but since just left this hotel and have 4 hrs on a flight figured I will while the experience is fresh in my mind and to warn other travelers. I have travelled and stayed at comfort inns all over the world so am familiar with the chain and standards. Below is a breakdown of pros... More

Room was very small, but the worst was that the width of the bed was only 1,15m, which is too small for 2. When I asked to switch room they claimed that they didn't have any other available room to switch. No airco too.

After reading a number of reviews, we booked this hotel for a long weekend in Paris. The location was excellent. We took a metro from the airport, and it was a very short walk to the hotel from the metro station. The street is charming and it would be hard to pick a better location if you want to be... More

My companion and I stayed here for three nights on a city break. We stayed in room 42. Our overall stay at this hotel was good but we did have some reservations. There are signs that this hotel is undergoing a makeover as some parts are fresh and recently painted while other areas showed age and poor decor. The staircase... More

I selected this hotel because of the location. Close to the Place Monge metro station which can take you to most of popular sites without changing trains. It is an also an easy walk to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Pantheon, and Jardin of Luxomburg. The Rue Mouffetard is a popular street for restaurants and bars. However, if you are... More

If you love the small shops, restaurants and the energy of the Latin Quarter you can't beat the location of the Comfort Inn Mouffetard. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel on the Left Bank. The customer service varied from "meh" to "super" depending on who was working the front desk. Although the Comfort Inn... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
