Price was very reasonable for a very pleasant stay in the heart of Paris. The hotel is very near saint Germain and a 8-min walk from odeon station. Also near lots of trendy cafes and bars. Rooms were the highlight. Loved the attention to detail in making the theme cohesive from the light blue wallpaper to bunny shaped mugs and... More

LLB is in a great location for left bank exploring and close enough to easily walk or metro to other areas. We were greeted by a tiny but adorable lobby area. Our room was a surprisingly large triple and, despite being shared by three 30-somethings with plenty of luggage and Parisian shopping bags, never felt cramped. The beds were very... More

I have recently just returned from staying in Paris at the Le Lapin Blanc hotel with my boyfriend. This hotel is amazing and quirky, spotlessly clean with lovely and friendly staff. We arrived at the hotel only to realise when we got into the room that we had been upgraded. The room was beautiful and spotless and we also had... More

Stayed here for four days and really liked the place. Staff was friendly and we got a free room upgrade. Within 10 min walking distance to Notre-Dame and the St. Michel metro station (you can take the C line from here to the Louvre, Orsay, Eiffel Tower, and Versailles). Also 5 min walk from eateries around the Latin quarter.

This is a lovely boutique hotel, but the room we were given was so small that my husband suffered from claustrophobia! There was nowhere to put our suitcases, so we ended up stacking them to make some room. There was no bathroom as such, the glass shower was a couple of feet from our bed...no privacy there! In the shower,... More

Beautiful and newly restored hotel on Boulevard St Michel. Very good value for a Paris hotel (May 2015). Spectacular modern decor. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Our room on the 1st floor looked out over Boul Mich, but was very quiet and the bed was wonderful. We would stay there again. Make sure that you have the street number (41)... More

We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic staff, extremely helpful. Our room was an oasis of relaxation - huge comfy bed, crisp white sheets, beautiful pastel decor, fab lighting- often lacking in hotel rooms, amazing massive bath, lovely toiletries etc. Just a perfect place to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. Can't fault it, my new favourite hotel! Thank... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
