This is a lovely boutique hotel, but the room we were given was so small that my husband suffered from claustrophobia! There was nowhere to put our suitcases, so we ended up stacking them to make some room. There was no bathroom as such, the glass shower was a couple of feet from our bed...no privacy there! In the shower,... More

Beautiful and newly restored hotel on Boulevard St Michel. Very good value for a Paris hotel (May 2015). Spectacular modern decor. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Our room on the 1st floor looked out over Boul Mich, but was very quiet and the bed was wonderful. We would stay there again. Make sure that you have the street number (41)... More

We absolutely loved this hotel! Fantastic staff, extremely helpful. Our room was an oasis of relaxation - huge comfy bed, crisp white sheets, beautiful pastel decor, fab lighting- often lacking in hotel rooms, amazing massive bath, lovely toiletries etc. Just a perfect place to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. Can't fault it, my new favourite hotel! Thank... More

I had a super beautiful - but tiny (!) - hotel room with a great design but many things indicated that nobody who designed it ever used the room. It was clean (although I would prefer not to have a not-cleanable/not washing machine prove cussion made of felt and cover (also felt) on my bed each day, which leaves hair... More

My new favourite hotel In the world. 4 stars are underrating the hotel. You cannot come to your room without smiling at how gorgeous it is. The details, the design features, the bed comfort. I feel like I'm in a bunny's home. A hole in the wall of Bvd St Michel, which is great for discretion. Next to Sorbonne. Around... More

We wanted to visit Paris for a long time so we started reading reviews. To be honest, I thought that all the people were exaggerating since every review I read contained zero negative comments. But the hotel proved me wrong. It is located in 41 Saint-Michel Boulevard, a fantastic place offering a magnificent view. The hotel is in excellent condition,... More

This beautiful hotel is conveniently located and very comfortable, visited with my partner and we stayed in a superior double. This had a huge bathtub with a rain shower, and a view over the street with a balcony you could step onto. Among the toiletries were bath salts and massage soap, but strangely no conditioner. The decor is bright, fresh... More

We booked this hotel through expedia after reading reviews and figuring out we wanted to be in this location. From here it was very easy to get around and a lot of the main attractions are within walking distance. We arrived pretty early in the day and they accommodated us on the spot and even gave us a room upgrade.... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
