I like the Sorbonne area. location of the hotel is in easy walking vicinity of metro and rer to and from airport. hotel is charming, beautiful and small. we got upgraded which was nice. service is good and friendly. breakfast is simple but good. only downside was the spotty internet. We'd come again. But fix the internet.

The location is brilliant, so close to a direct line metro and on the left bank with all that has to offer, the hotel is small but beautifully considered in terms of decoration and fittings, the staff were all amazing to the point of helping stick my phone back together and couldn't have been nicer We were given a better... We chose this hotel based on both location and the fact that they offered king-size beds. Our room was large with both coffee maker and espresso machine (pods). There was a Nero-size free-standing bathtub in the room as well as a large walk-in shower in the bathroom. There was plenty of storage. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was available... More

the room was small but very cosy, the personnel was extremely service minded. The breakfast is their weekness. The situation is fantastic, no noise from the street. The bad side is the breakfast, not well refilled and very little space.

Beautiful hotel, stylish and spotless and the location is ideal. Staff we also super helpful. Much like other guests the only problem we found was with the wifi - poor signal that just dropped off all the time. By the second day we just stopped trying to get it to work. That, however, was only a minor thing in an... More

LLB is an awesome choice for your stay in Paris. The décor is very unique and of very high quality. We loved our room and thought the size was perfect for us and larger than most in Paris, we even had a super comfortable king size bed. Needless to say, we slept very well. The bathroom is within the room,... More

This hotel was perfectly situated near the Latin Quarter and close to the river. The room was big for Paris and the decor was very interesting. The rain shower was great too. Stayed for 6 nights. Staff were great, room was cleaned every day. Cleaning standards are very high, the view was magnificent. Only issue was the wifi which was very slow and would not work most of the time. Still, I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely hotel. Perfect for a short stay, 10 minute walk and you're on the banks of the Seine. Clean, modern, quirky. Luxurious pillows and bedding and toilet roll! Rooms well equipped. This is my first time staying in a modern, boutique hotel in Paris. It reminded me a lot of the Triton in San Francisco back in the 1990's. Beautifully designed around a theme of Alice in Wonderland, with fun little touches everywhere. We took the stairs instead of the elevator some days, just to see the color treatments of the... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
