I felt like I was in a chimney the whole time. I heard that french people like to smoke but my gosh! I've never been exposed to more second hand smoking the way I was while staying there. Woke up in the middle of the night because the room next door had a smoker. Complained about it, nothing was done!... More

Dear Guest, You have a lukewarm memory of your stay and you rightly highlighted certain insufficiencies in the service that was provided to you, and I have been made aware of them. I assure you that we are sorry and we present our sincerest apologies for this unpleasant experience. Your comments catch my entire attention. I attach considerable importance to... More

Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and towels and sheets changed when needed. Breakfast consists of cereal, croissants, ham, cheese etc etc not an English breakfast but when in Rome as they say! Excellent value, quite a distance from centre but located very close to two metro stations and about a 10 min journey into centre with trains every... More

I stayed for 2 nights as I was going to a concert at the Zenith, just across the canal from the hotel. Actually although only across the canal from the venue it took 30 mins to walk to the theatre as we had to walk down to the nearest bridge and then a long walk through the park. Some of... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking some of your time to inform us about your stay. Your comments regarding the service attitude catched my entire attention. This is definitely not the quality of service we want to offer to our guests. Be assured that the appropriate measures have been taken to avoid any other occurence. If your are planning to... More

Handy location, positioned with views of the canal & Cite des Sciences park. The Ibis offers a secure & comfortable bed for a couple of nights sleep. As has been said before it's only a 10-15min walk through the park to Le Zenith, which would be a good reason for anyone going to a gig there to check in here.... More

My wife and I stayed here last weekend for two nights as we had tickets for two concerts at Le Zenith and the hotel is less than 5 mins walk away, so really handy. Nice surroundings with the canal and park, should imagine it's nice in the summer months. Room was small, very small, and the pictures on the website... More

Stayed here to attend a concert festival at La Villette. Chose it based on proximity and price, and it delivered on both those fronts. You can walk to La Villete or Cité de Sciences in 5 minutes. The rooms are small (but not as ridiculously small I have seen in other Paris Ibis hotels) but clean and the bathroom is... More

Stayed two nights here with a couple friends. We had a room each with double beds. Arrived around 8pm and check-in was friendly and quick. All rooms on the same floor (5th). My room was small but clean, wooden flooring and queen/king bed. Bathroom appeared cramped at first but actually ok. Plenty of light and nice shower too. Plenty of... More

Reception: not very friendly, does not give any directions, does not speak English very well. Room: I was in room 401. Nice standard Ibis room, Clean white sheets, nice and clear lights in the shower, nice shower soap (hair and body), nice view to a centre garden, no neighbour looking at your room and very quiet Elevator: under finishing but... Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
