Stayed here for 3 nights And paid just £120! A bargain in paris. Beds are the BEST I have ever slept on. Set a little out of the centre. If you're good on the metro then you'll get around just fine. Takes 2 short train journeys to the centre.Only about 15 mins. Rooms are very small but very clean. Free... More

Average hotel, nothing spectacular to expect. great for only few nights if you spending all day sightseeing and outdoors. Less than 5 min walk to the Metro station. Hotel overlooks a canal which is very popular with joggers, locals fishing, canal boats etc. Close by is a busy street with shops, takeaways, restaurants, mini markets. English speaking friendly staff at... More

To keep it brief, worst hotel experience in Paris I've ever had. -it is in the most unsafe part of Paris. It is heavily populated with gangs. It's absolutely disgusting and near no points of interest. -the rooms smell of mold, smoke, and sewer everyday -no air conditioning, just a window without a screen -bugs have been seen in my... I stayed here for the first few nights on arrival. It was easy access from CDG. The hotel is in a quiet location with Parc del la Villette across the canal. Science museum, la Geode, Le grande Halles, new Philharmonie, music museum, restaurants, concerts, walking and running paths, metro, light rail, buses - all this is 5 mins walk from... More

Room was small but clean just what we needed, staff so helpful when we needed help on how to get places, nice view from room and good bar in hotel and nice little bar over the road. Only a 10 minute walk to metro and nice food places just down the road will be coming back to this hotel☺️

Clean room and very friendly staff. Lovely serve yourself breakfast was a great start to each day too. The location of the Hotel is brilliant; having a coffee out by the canal with my first cigarette of the day was calming.

I booked this hotel from a popular site, and I payd id from my credit card. When i arrived at this hotel they told me that the bank didn't let them to take the money from my credit card and they "forced" me to pay in that evening again the hotel. When I arrived home I called the famous site... More

Had three nights here while attending a conference at the Cité des Sciences La Villette, this hotel suited the occasion perfectly. Room was small and simple, but perfectly clean and adequate. Bathroom WC is very tight - worked for me, but won't work if you have any mobility issues. Off the beaten path a little (in a good way!) next... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
