Great location, close to metro that takes you straight into city centre, without being too busy. Close to canal and shops/cafes on Flanders. Rooms are small, but so is everything in Paris unless you have an open ended budget, and therefore this hotel represents good value for money, is clean and tidy, with an impressive breakfast buffet.

Good location, close to a metro station. Quite easy to arrive from the airport and main train station. The rooms were clean and the staff are kind. The breakfast was ok (but in my case it was not included, the price was 6,15).

We used the code given to enter the dark basement car park. It would not work to let us out. We tried it again and again, without it working. We were trapped and frightened with no means of help. After 20 minutes we found a poorly marked for exit. No explanation at reception. I emailed the manager using the email... More

This place has got to be Paris' best kept secret. Stayed here 3 days and I must say that everything was done with a spirit of excellence and first class. Just minutes away from the train station and the heart of Paris. Bed was very comfortable and immaculate. Service from the front desk was flawless and they spoke great English... More

Stayed here for 3 nights And paid just £120! A bargain in paris. Beds are the BEST I have ever slept on. Set a little out of the centre. If you're good on the metro then you'll get around just fine. Takes 2 short train journeys to the centre.Only about 15 mins. Rooms are very small but very clean. Free... More

Average hotel, nothing spectacular to expect. great for only few nights if you spending all day sightseeing and outdoors. Less than 5 min walk to the Metro station. Hotel overlooks a canal which is very popular with joggers, locals fishing, canal boats etc. Close by is a busy street with shops, takeaways, restaurants, mini markets. English speaking friendly staff at... More

To keep it brief, worst hotel experience in Paris I've ever had. -it is in the most unsafe part of Paris. It is heavily populated with gangs. It's absolutely disgusting and near no points of interest. -the rooms smell of mold, smoke, and sewer everyday -no air conditioning, just a window without a screen -bugs have been seen in my... Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
