We stayed at this hotel over our wedding anniversary weekend 29th August. What a pleasant hotel clean, friendly staff on reception. Its situation in a great location, just down from the metro. We enjoyed some lovely meals in the local restaurants. Perfect hotel for a few nights away. We would stay here again.

This is a small, simple hotel in the 14th district of Paris, one of the calmest and safest. While the neighbourhood is not that exciting, you get to come home at the end of the day to a quiet room, away from Paris' bright lights and cheering crowds. Supermarkets, take-aways and all other facilities right next door. It is a... More

We checked in to this hotel and then checked out 2 hours later. My husband has a shirt that he wanted to wear out to dinner and we asked if the hotel had an iron. We were told no, fair enough. When I then asked if he knew where to buy one he told me that it was 'illegal' to... More

Ok so I have mixed emotions about Hotel Montparnasse-Alesia. The location was pretty good, two train stations in walking distance (under 10 min) on either side. The staff were friendly and helpful (for the most part.) One staff member didn't believe that our room key wasn't working, so he came up to the room with us to try it out... More

Petite room with two small twin beds. What a view from the 7th floor - The Eiffel Tower. Clean rooms. Tiny bathroom with a low power hair dryer. Lots of hot water. Very slow elevator, with stair access. Breakfast buffet was good. Enjoyed the outside patio on the ground floor. Metro station nearby. Excellent bakery 2 blocks away for your... More

Stayed one week in this hotel. Room was extremely small ( queen size bed with hardly any room to walk around the bed) very small working table, very little room in cupboard to put your clothes. Bathroom ok. Room well clean. Walls between room or one floor higher not well isolated and so one could hear what people were discussing... More

We spent two nights here and found it fine for a short stay. (This was not our first choice of hotel in Paris but we could not get a two night booking at our preferred hotel in mid-May.) Our room was petite, but it had a view of the Eiffel Tower, which was a bonus. The bathroom was good with... More

The lady at the telephone when I was confirming was so rude and obstructive that I cancelled the booking (full night paid). Her obvious priority was herself and not the client. Who needs this? If the owners of the hotel don't care why should we? Julek Kedzierski

I recently returned from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Montparnasse-Alesia and was pleasantly surprised. The lobby area, decorated with modern furniture, is inviting and welcoming. The front desk staff was a bit abrupt at times and seemed a bit rude; however, the woman that worked at the desk in the morning was extremely hospitable and always greeted me... More
