The lady at the telephone when I was confirming was so rude and obstructive that I cancelled the booking (full night paid). Her obvious priority was herself and not the client. Who needs this? If the owners of the hotel don't care why should we? Julek Kedzierski

I recently returned from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Montparnasse-Alesia and was pleasantly surprised. The lobby area, decorated with modern furniture, is inviting and welcoming. The front desk staff was a bit abrupt at times and seemed a bit rude; however, the woman that worked at the desk in the morning was extremely hospitable and always greeted me... More

The entrance to the reception gave a really good first impression, the decor was fresh and bright. My first impression was instantly changed by the extremely rude staff on reception. The gentleman was very unhelpful and abrupt. The room was quite small, ok for one/two night stay, but nothing more. The bathroom was clean, but again, very tiny. The mattress... More

Not much to say really, but no complaints either. The room was clean and quite comfortable, staff was friendly. I needed to pay for the whole stay in advance because I didn't take my credit card with me. It was no problem, just a bit strange. The area is alright, and it is in the middle of two different metro... More

The hotel is clean, nothing to say. The breakfast is fine! Free Wifi. But the walls are so thin that you can hear the television of your neighbour. The rooms are small too. You have to like hard matresses. But overall the staff was very very uncourteous, not helpfull at all and run out of smiles. If you find another... More

It is simple and the rooms are a little small but everything is very clean. The personnel is super nice and speaks good English (don't take that for granted in France!). The breakfast is surprisingly good and rich. Most important: it is really well connected to two important lines of the metro system! The only problem: most windows point to... More

Very clean, newly refurbished with English speaking staff and excellent facilities. The rooms are small, but this is a reasonably priced hotel in a good location with good breakfast and free wifi. No English TV., !!! Beware pick pocket gangs from E Europe - particularly when using a cash machine or at train stations. A recent addition to the lively... More

As a solo traveller I am not too concerened with staying in a flashy hotel. This hotel was about right for what I payed. Clean & quiet room, good bathroom, comfortable bed. Receptionists were the typical French type, not too highly skilled on the pleasantness side of things. But they spoke English & told me what I needed to know.... More

The hotel staff were rude and unfriendly. The rooms are small with thin walls and medium cleanliness. It was ok for location. small rooms, small elevator, small and narrow corridor. No nice view from the window, at least from the second floor window. One may book a better hotel with a better location, friendly staff, better service...
