We looked for a hotel with parking, this one has it's own private parking for 20 eur/night. The room was rather small, but had everything necessary: table, chair, closet, even kettle and free tea/coffee and a safe which I consider additional bonuses. Also we were provided with cosmetics, etc. I would go there again, considering it's also close to the... More

Chose this hotel for the parking facility and we were very happy with the whole package. Half an hour walk to Notre Dame, less if you take the metro, so very central. We stayed on a room only basis, like a lot of hotels in Paris they don't really cater for breakfasts - what is supplied is basic and convenient.... More

In short this is a good hotel. Read more below to see why... The location is great, it is opposite metro station that goes direct to Charles de Gaul airport. No need for taxi. The lines at this station will get you anywhere in Paris very easily. The catacombs are also very close. Numerous places to eat and drink around... More

Stayed here for three nights in the depths of winter. Reception was friendly and accurate. As mentioned by others this hotel is in a great location for Montparnasse, directly opposite the Denfert-Rochereau Metro/RER station. This station is on the RER line form Paris Gare du Nord, so is a very easy transition from Eurostar or other trains coming in from... More

We stayed one night in their triple bed, mid week. Beds were really comfortable. Everything was clean. The bath was big enough to float in. Right opposite the metro in the centre of Montparnasse. A lively place but we heard no noise in the room. Good value for Paris.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover. Decent room, well fitted out, a little dated but more than adequate for a couple. Free WiFi, a few English TV channels, my favourite thing was the automated window blinds....very welcome! Location was excellent, smack bang next to a metro station and regular buses. Breakfast was disappointing though, we would return there... More

We stayed here in October of 2013. It's a pretty building, nice staff. Good location Okay, space is at a premium in Paris I get that, but our tiny room cost us about $350 per night. The occupants of the room downstairs kept complaining about the noise from our room The only activiity we could think of that might have... More

Location is perfect, as indicated in the other reviews. Hub for all the useful train lines, near just the kind of shops and cafes you need when traveling. Metro station close, handy when carrying a jet lagged toddler back to the room. Service great. Friendly, patient, English speaking, local knowledge. Room quiet, but when you open the windows you're reminded... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
