The word hospitality is a simple one to understand. Perhaps the staff at this hotel are jaded, tired or over the tourists. I have never seen such an uninterested lot in all my days. I stood at the bar for 20 minutes early one evening waiting to order a drink whilst the barmaid cleaned tables, we were vaccumed under as... More

Myself with family reached this hotel from Disneyland easily by metro from Marne La Valle. But it was already night by then and the receptionist eventhough at first didn't show the hospitality to provide us immediately with our already booked room later turned out to be very friendly and gave us also valuable guidance for our city tour...This hotel is... Just returned from a 3 night weekend break in this very conveniently situated city hotel. Amenities basic but contrary to other recent review it was very clean, towels were changed daily and while not the size of bath sheets were more than adequate. As for TV we came to visit Paris which is in France. If we had wanted English... More

A tiny room with dated, tatty furniture, a toilet with filthy stained limescale under the rim, small rough towels , air conditioning which didn’t work properly, a TV with no English channels, heavy doors to the rooms which slammed shut at all hours, corridors reminiscent of 1980s Butlins – In short, the whole hotel is in desperate need of a... 1st time in Paris and our stay was pleasant enough. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable, the shower was also very nice. The room was quite cramped for two people sharing though and there was only one plug socket in the bathroom which made it awkward if you needed to use an appliance and your travel... More

Very comfortable, helpful staff, great breakfasts, have stayed before and would stay again in a good area to eat and explore. Handy for metro line 4 direct from gare du nord, and back into paris, cite brings you up into the flower market and just round the corner from notre dame.

.We have just come back from Paris. It was my wife's first visit, and we used Riviera Travel. It all went like clockwork.Andy the tour guide was superb throughout. The Hotel Alesia was cheap, and cheerful. The room it's self was about 12ft x 10ft also with en suite facilities of about 6ft square. So just enough room to manage for a short... More

We visited with a Riviera Holidays (UK) group. A second Riviera group and another group, from North Carolina (US) also overlapped our stay. We chose this location since we were familiar with the area – one of our sons lived nearby for some time a few years ago. It is not a hotel to choose for luxury but it is... More

I wasn't expecting this IBIS to be much chop, but it was surprisingly clean & comfortable. Basic but that's all you need. It was close to metro, and heaps of food choices. If u want a cheaper place to stay with easy access to metro to take you not long to ie: louvre, tour montrapase then this hotel is the... More

I confess we had hoped to stay in a hotel with more character - and I am not a fan of hotel chains. But the Ibis in Alesia was a pleasant surprise in several ways. It is located in a pleasant neighbourhood with several restaurants, cafes and shops (incl. organic fruit shops and super markets) within walking distance. The room... More
