We had no problem with location. The staff was friendly. Our room is suitable for two persons and the bathroom is good. It was valuable for money in expensive Paris. About breakfast, we tasted it ones but preferred to test other options around the hotel.

The room was defintely small, but was manageable. I stayed 9 nights in a 2-bed and I had no trouble with the cleanliness or the service given at the hotel. We stayed at the hotel for sleeping and getting ready, but stayed out until 9PM most days. We didn't eat the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The beds... More

The neighboorhod is basically residencial, it means that you shouldn't expect a lot of restaurants near by, and the few restaurants that you can find, are all expensives. Also, the hotel says that the breakfast is free if you've booked through the official homepage, but they charge you 8 euros per person for a terrible "breakfast", with only 2 croissant,... More

Stayed five nights. The room was very small, but for just a sleep and shower is quite enough. Small room, sad colours. I didnt test τhe breakfast. Some receptionists could offer more smiles. Location is one advantage. Surprisingly there is no refrigerator. Bath tube smells.

We stayed in a twin beds room for 2 nights at this hotel. The room is quite small, but for just a sleep and shower is enough. The metro station is around 10 minutes walking distance and also nearby restaurants that open until late. Just a small important note, they need to improve the cleanliness in the room and also... The hotel looks OK when you enter, more or less. The room was shabby, typical stuff where they have cheapish rooms whilst waiting, I presume, to redecorate and then raise the proces. but the WORST aspect was that when I booked, and paid the non-annulation preis (i.e. if I didn't turn up, they could keep one night's money from my... I booked 2 rooms for 4 people through Expedia. They were nice enough to put our rooms next to each other and neither of our rooms have A/C units in July. I would book this hotel again but only when it is cold outside.

My review is mostly based on value for money, we found it very expensive for what it was! The hotel is very dated and shabby, in a typical french neibourhood. the rooms are small and not at all sound proofed, infact, the whole hotel is a bit clostrafobic. Having said that, the bathroom and beds were clean and the staff... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
