Staff were helpful and flexible with checkin/checkout timings. Hotel located in a quiet, safe area. Some small restaurants nearby. Good value for money. Room was very small. Stayed here on Jan 5, 2014 but unable to select the right date now

We were very satisfied with the conditions offered, the employees of the hotel were all nice and kind people. The hotel is located in a nice place, close to 2 metro stations. It is also surrounded by restaurants and coffee bars.

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of July. Really close to metro and really nice neighbourhood to explore! We were here during heatwave which was pretty unbearable but not hotels fault - they supplied us with a fan and as our room worked out we managed to get a breeze going by opening the bathroom window and bedroom... The location of moulin is great. It's a five min walk to the metro & a few bars, restraunts, supermarket close by, there's a superb bakery next to hotel. Also main shopping area is within walking distance. The room itself needed a decor upgrade but bed was comfy plus room was cleaned everyday. Bathroom needs major work again though shower... More

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed. Very small room by North American standards but when in Paris that's what you get. Had to sleep with the windows open because of the heatwave, fan was week/no AC. For me what made the difference was having a very friendly staff to make the two days pleasant. Easy access to most of the interesting... More

Easy and clean. The rooms are old and small, but the service was great. If you are expecting to want to hang out inside the hotel room for a long period of time, I would suggest a different hotel. If you need a cheap clean place to sleep and guard your stuff, this is the place. It is a five... More

Stayed 4 nights in the hotel. I booked it online as it was price-convenient as I didn't want to spend much money for the hotel as opposed to spending more on site-seeing and dinning outside. I never understood the concept that just because you are a 2* or 3* hotel you cannot offer clean rooms!!! I guess the cleanness is... More

We had no problem with location. The staff was friendly. Our room is suitable for two persons and the bathroom is good. It was valuable for money in expensive Paris. About breakfast, we tasted it ones but preferred to test other options around the hotel.

The room was defintely small, but was manageable. I stayed 9 nights in a 2-bed and I had no trouble with the cleanliness or the service given at the hotel. We stayed at the hotel for sleeping and getting ready, but stayed out until 9PM most days. We didn't eat the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The beds... More

The neighboorhod is basically residencial, it means that you shouldn't expect a lot of restaurants near by, and the few restaurants that you can find, are all expensives. Also, the hotel says that the breakfast is free if you've booked through the official homepage, but they charge you 8 euros per person for a terrible "breakfast", with only 2 croissant,... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
