Small hotel, with small rooms but nice. The street is cosy and qiuet. Location is perfect for exploring Paris. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Metro station is nearby. Breakfast is good. WiFi work really good.

Staff is great, however the room and bathroom is so small if you are a above average size 200 plus lbs you won't fit.. I am a 150-5'4" and the shower was not big enough for myself.. Wifi hardly worked, we stayed room 36 and nose 25/7 outside our window. Thank goodness we traveled sigh ear plugs for the plane... More

Ambassade Hotel is a smaller hotel that is located on the business side of the Arc. The price is great for the wifi speed, cleanliness, and location of the hotel. We only stayed for one night while on our way to London but the price is great for what is given.

This was the second time we had visited this hotel as the location cannot be faulted. This time however we had the smallest room ever and there was physically no space in the bathroom to dry after a shower. There was a pair of men's shoes and rubbish under the bed! £20 also went missing from my purse which was... More

Hotel is well situated for Metro stations and tourist attractions. Room was very small and quite dingy and although we were on the 3rd floor it was noisy early hours of the morning. Bathroom was clean but so small that there wasnt even room to dry yourself when you got out of the shower! Breakfast was ok, room was very... More

My sister & I stayed for 4 nights here in June we knew it would be basic but you get what you pay for and we wouldn't be spending a huge amount of time in our rooms just for sleeping. On the whole we were actually pleasantly surprised with our room 24( largest on this floor on the front corner... More

The rooms are cramped and dingy and reek of cigarette smoke and mold. The rooms are so small you cannot completely open the bathroom door without hitting the bed. The pictures on the hotel web site are very deceptive and done with a panoramic camera to make the place appear much larger than it actually is. We were not given... More

The staff was great, but the rooms were insanely small. With our luggage, there was no room to stand. The rooms were so hot, the AC was horrible. One night my cousin slept in the bath tub to stay cool. It was 38 degrees that day. I did not sleep that night at all. It was so hot that I... More

The hotel staff were friendly and the location is great. The room itself was extremely dated, with a quite terrible smell and soiled carpets. The wifi was very poor, making it difficult to work remotely. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Very noisy room on main road side of the building. You can hear the conversations in the room next door an guests walking on the corridor. On top of that the bins were emptied just outside the hotel and this woke me up on both mornings!!! Room was so tiny, we could hardly move when we dropped cases on the... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighborhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighborhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendor, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
