I've been to this appart'hotel before (in 2000), and at that time, the appartment were beautiful and very comfy and had all you needed (little kitchen, nice little table, etc.) but I didn't know how the rooms would be now in 2008. The hotel was very nice. Very good facilities if you want an inexpensive stay in Paris (your own cooker, pots, pans, cuttlery, TV, Stereo). Near to Montparnasse and Geite Metro station. Here are some things you should know about this "apartment-style'' hotel: 1. There is no housekeeping, if you stay less than a week. 2. I stayed here a weekend in October 2004 and was very disappointed. I'd visited the Citadines St Germain and loved it -- very clean and modern. But the Maine-Montparnasse is not in the same league. The lobby is sad, the lifts didn't work part of the time and my room (studio) had a horrible smell of sweat. Plus the bed... more
