For Euro 400 (including Wi-Fi and breakfast) one would expect a decent room, rather than a tiny room. Very American - once you switch on all the lights in the room you might just be able to see. There is a fridge, not a minibar, no glasses, 4 pathetic teabags. Careful you don't hurt yourself when squeezing into the toilet.... More

I stay often at this hotel. It is rather dated in places, but staff are always very friendly and it is well positioned for easy access to multiple Paris locations (the hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Metro). The executive lounge is large and offers a good selection for breakfast.

This hotel is in the 13th arrondissement, a few yards away from the Glaciere Paris Metro station on the 6 line. The surrounding area is residential, meaning there are peaceful cafés the locals patronize, with just the right amount of tourists mixed in. The hotel staff is outstanding and proficient in English. The buffet breakfast includes hot food and there... More

This hotel is in a terrible location. All main tourist landmarks are on the other side of the Seine. In the First Arrondisement The service at this hotel is terrible. We arrived before 3 p.m. Reception told us that we could not check in until 3 p.m. because our room was not ready. But then we watched other persons who... More

Like many others, I was traveling on business with an extra day at the end and decided to give this Marriott a shot hoping it wasn't too far afield. I was very pleasantly surprised by not only the great location (I don't know what other reviewers were talking about, you are in a great, if not more local neighborhood, with... More

Stayed here for business while attending a trade show at Porter de Versailles. Easy to access the metro and get around. Room was on exec floor and was excellent...no issues at all. Many excellent brasserie nearby for easy dining and the RER B line is a 5 minute walk away.

Service is great and rooms are clean and simewhat spacious for a European hotel. The location is easily accessible from the Metro in a quieter part of town. I stay here regularly, and have had no bad experiences with either the facilities or the staff. This hotel is a great choice in Paris.

Stayed 4 nights in king executive room with 5 y.o. child. We booked executive room with idea to use all extras in lounge, but we was badly surprised of lack of service there. First of all lounge don't work at weekends. On Tuesday was closed again for cleaning till evening!? Most of time there was no one on lounge reception... More

I've stayed at this hotel three times recently and it is consistently great. Very clean modern quiet comfortable rooms. Location is in quieter part of Paris (left bank area) but still very convenient to all the popular sights most tourists want to see. The metro stop is literally across the street from the hotel.this will take you to any area... More

I typically stay at the Marriott Rive Gauche when travelling to Paris. It is near the Place D'Italie on the Nation-Etolie metro line and you can easily walk to one of two stations. There is a Velib station also around the corner. This is not a touristy part of town, but there are several hidden-gem neighbourhoods near Place D'Italie and... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
