A super friendly staff makes this the perfect stop for business or pleasure in the City of Lights. Convenient between 2 Metro stations, one even having an escalator for easy station access. A stay on the Club Level well worth the price. The Executive Lounge amenities were incredible. Breakfast was ample, afternoon snack time had enough goodies to make an... More

I have always been a marriott fan, but this hotel just had it all! Great service and nice rooms! I was there for an exam and because I was stuck to the room to study, we got an upgrade to a suite with a desk and everything (thank you!!!) Metro stops in front of the door. The rooms are clean... We recently spent 5 days at this property during our stay in Paris, and it was a great choice and very affordable. The rooms were extremely comfortable and as a Platinum member, I enjoyed the executive lounge and breakfast downstairs. The breakfast each morning was extremely good and my son enjoyed the American style breakfast each morning. The hotel is... More

I stay in this hotel frequently - at least 30 times over the past several years. It has everything you expect from a quality Marriott. The only modest downside is that the location is somewhat mediocre. Not a lot of nightlife, or restaurants, max there are in other Parisian neighborhoods.

The hotel is in a dull residential area - it almost doesn't feel like Paris. The room we were offered where upgrades since we were silver Marriott members. They were not particularly attractive; the beds/pillows are excellent; we were offered free wifi and access to the lounge. The lounge was one of the most dullest of lounges I have ever... More

I have stayed here before. Yes, it's just a basic Marriott, but.. I am able to use my reward points for a "free" stay at an affordable cost The rooms are in good shape and the staff always friendly. If you qualify the Executive Lounge has a good breakfast option and nice evening options. I certainly wouldn't pay for it... More

This hotel is classic Marriott, classic Paris. Marriott: Like many Marriotts, this hotel has a lot of 'social' spaces that feel sterile and forced. It looks like someone gave a college student a couple thousand dollars and sent them to IKEA with instructions to make the lobby look like a showroom for flatpack contemporary design. The place just feels off.... More

The hotel is in a dull residential area - it almost doesn't feel like Paris. The room is average - not particularly attractive; the beds/pillows are excellent; there's a charge for wifi (which always annoys me); there are a few restaurants nearby; the hotel is convenient to the 6 line on the metro. It's probably a better hotel for business... More

Dear Elaine212 Thank you for staying with us at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche and posting a review of which I value your honest opinion. I am sorry you found the location of the hotel dull. I am at the this hotel pretty much every 6 days. As an international flight attendant I fly between Chicago and Paris or Chicago and Rome. Out of any of the hotels that I've stayed in, these are the comfiest beds of all. The downside is that when you get to your room, you sleep so well that it's hard... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this Marriott in Paris following a French river cruise. We purchased a 3 day extension from the cruise line and this is the hotel they used. When I received the final itinerary, and saw its location, I was a little disappointed since I was hoping for a hotel closer to the tourist... More
