This is a 4 star hotel for glitz, 3 stars for comfort, and 2 stars for location. Air conditioning in rooms is strong but corridors and elevators don't have A/C. They get very hot because there are halogen lights everywhere wasting energy. The hotel was recently redecorated in a modern glitzy style with little attention paid to making it genuinely... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently. Hotel accessed by Denfert Rochereau metro with a three block walk using RER B, or M 4 metro lines from CDG or elsewhere. From the hotel you can get to Versailles in 45 minutes, and Les Halles main metro station in 25 minutes, (access to Louvre, Notre Dame, St. Germain,... more

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel at Rive Gauche for 3 nights a couple years ago after getting a very good deal (85 Euro/night) from our friend. The hotel is a bit out of the city centre and sometimes it's pretty tiring to travel 40+ minutes to get to the tourist attractions. But on the bright side, our hotel room... more

My husband and I spent our anniversary in Paris and my boss provided the hotel accomodations for us. We stayed in the junior suite(equipped with a daily stocked fridge, living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 plasma televisions). We had access to the executive lounge (complementary breakfast along with refreshments and alcohol in the evening). The hotel itself is very posh... more

Modern rooms as usual, good food, good conference rooms. Location is not interesting for a walk, no shops, no restaurants nearby. In Paris either you have small and a bit worn rooms in the center or the modern, comfortable ones a couple of metro stations away. more

The Marriott Hotel at Rive Gauche in Paris is really a hotel one should stay in if visiting Paris on Business. Business like and efficient, with comfortable rooms and beds, its exactly what one needs after a long day packed with meetings. The concierge is very up to date with all events in the city and you could really count... more

Our stay at the Marriott Rive Gauche Paris was just for one night but was simply amazing. The staff were absolutely pleasant and courteous. We arrived there early and had requested for an early check in - we were not promised the same, but the hotel was extremely accomodating. Though the Hotel is far away from the airport (it tooks... more

Marriott Rive Gauche is in the Latin Quarter of Paris. Metro station is one short half block in front of hotel, very convenient to everywhere within minutes. The room was clean, modern, with an extremely comfortable bed, linens, etc. Full bath with tub and every amenity Marriott is known for. Would definitly stay there again! more

Located in one of the outer arrondisements on the left bank of the Seine river, the Marriott is a welcomed break from the usual European boutique hotels. After a few weeks traveling and one is travel weary, it's nice to have some elbow room and blush comfort with their oh so luxurious Hanse Pillows and Duvets. If you are a... more

I stayed here primarily based on price. The hotel was convenient for Gare du Nord, as it was only five stops on the RER to Denfert Rochereau and a 8 minute walk or so to the hotel from there. The Pros Awesome gym. You don't see this much in Paris. Five or six treadmills, four or five ellipticals, three bikes,... more
