We stayed 3 nights in March for a long Weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and clean. You could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur from our window, not bad for a budget hotel. Neighbourhood quiet of an evening, a few iffy characters knocking about but on whole safe, as long as you dont go... More

We visited Paris for 3 nights from the 19th February. The hotel was in a fabulous location, to see the Eiffel tower from the balcony and a sneaky look to the left the majestic Sacre Coeur - couldn't have asked for more. The room was clean, comfortable and quite perfect for our needs, with a balcony and a spacious bathroom.... More

My daughter an I travelled to Paris on a tight budget and found this beautiful quaint hotel in the center of Paris. Surprisingly beautiful view of the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, which is just a block away. Two subway stations nearby - on the corner (Anvers line) and 2 blocks away (Barbes-Rochechoaurt line). Hopped on the metro and it was... More

Booked this hotel at the last minute then only found out that it is located at the red light district of Paris. Receptionist was boo. The room was kinda crappy. The pillows were in weird shape and it didn't feel clean. Bathroom was alright. Overall, good location (or not) because it is pretty near the metro station despite the place... More

The location of this hotel is good if you plan on spending time around Sacre Coeur, and Montmartre. It is also conveniently located to the Anvers metro stop. Although the room was clean, and of acceptable size, it was very much in need of updating. The carpet was worn; floors were squeaky; mattresses were extremely hard; pillows were lumpy; lights... Just returned from Paris and a six night stay here. This hotel is extremely convenient to the Metro - half a block from Anvers stop. It is definitely in need of a face lift. Carpet is old and was torn. Towels are threadbare and bedspreads are coming apart. Beds are very small and hard. Pillows are strangely sized and lumpy.... More

The quintessential French hotel, oozing charm and history. Yes small but adequate for the traveller that needs a quiet sleep and likes to spend the day wandering the streets. We really enjoyed our stay here, the proximity to the Subway (easiest way to get around Paris)

This is a nice small hotel in Paris for travelers. It's a good place to stay if you don't plan to spend much time in your room. Pros: -Very close to metro station -Safe area -Relatively quiet (except for holidays because there is a park right outside) -Private bathroom -Has an elevator -Markets and restaurants nearby Cons: -Room is small... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
