The rooms are quite tiny and it there is no option of locking them, except for a chain lock which is insufficient. The location is very convenient if you need to tale metro transportations: 50 meters from the 'Pigalle' metro station which brings you everywhere you need. The hotel is also located 100 meters from the famous 'mullein rouge' club

Hotel room was tiny, breakfast was poor, hotel female receptionist was a bit rude and the nights were bad as there was so much noise outside from cars, police sirens and guests going in and out of rooms during the night so sleep was a major problem. Stayed for only 2 nights but couldn't wait to check out.

3 star hotels are pretty much bog standard in Paris, this little Hotel is in a great spot and really handy for the metro, literally one minute walk from front door. The Moulin Rouge is 5 minutes walk. Buses are just at the near end of the street, and you can travel quite cheaply anywhere in Paris on them. Rooms... More

Booked the hotel for the location - Montmartre/the red light district - and it fitted our budget. We had a long weekend in Paris and found it ideal for our purpose. The location is great - Pigalle and the surrounding area is buzzy and safe at night with lots of places to eat relatively cheaply. Well placed to easily walk... More

Stayed here for a weekend away with friends. The hotel was the result of a long search with travel agent for somewhere price appropriate in Paris! The hotel and it's features are a little dated and to be honest the rooms could do with some good maintenance work i.e. Towel rails screwed on properly, bathroom fans wired safely, but in... More

The location is good, but the room is small and the furniture looks like it's from de 80's. The walls are stained and the bathroom utilities are in working condition but look pretty bad. Breakfast is a disappointment, they only serve cold food, which they buy from the supermarket next door. The fanciest drink you can get is coffee and... More

Stayed here for the Paris Marathon. The owners were great. Got up early to offer a breakfast on race day, and let me return after to have a shower. A last minute booking, the hotel is in Pigalle which is a bit rough. But it's great for the Metro and very lively. It was reasonably priced but very basic- ok... More

A very good location. Even if you are in the red district you feel more safety that on Champs-Elysee. The isolation of the room is very good and it is warm inside. The baddest thing was the bathroom very dirty and with broken and very old furniture. If I will go another time at Paris for sure I will plan... More

We spent 4 nights in Atlanta Frochot hotel in November 2013. Hotel is near the metro station Pigalle, that's very convenient indeed. Also there are Boulvard Clichy and Monmartre - famous Paris places - near the hotel. We (me, my husband and our little baby) firstly received very small room, where we couldn't even open our trunk. But after a... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
