This place is lovely. Awesome bathroom and very nice staff. Our room was on the second floor facing Rue Victor Masse. The problem was no air conditioning which meant we had to open the window. There are several bars in the area that just go all night until daylight with loud music, cheerful loud customers that spill out onto the... More

This hotel had a nice reception area with aircon and nice staff. However, our room was on 6th floor yet the tiny lift only goes to level 5 so we had to carry our 25 kg bag up a spiral stair well. Our room had no aircon or fan in the middle of summer with 35 degree heat. Asked for... More

We've just returned after a 4 night stay. I booked it because of TA reviews, location and its price. Very easy to find of the Pigalle metro. We arrived at 12 but as check in not till 2pm they advised recommended the bistro on the corner for lunch until check in which was very nice. The hotel was lovely. Very... More

My boyfriend took me for a surprise mini break to Paris so it's him the deserves the credit for picking this great hotel. Based in the Opera quarter, this hotel was perfect. Staff were friendly & willing to help 24hrs a day on reception. It's in a central location to get to metro link, with lovely bars & restaurants in... More

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Victor Masse for 2 nights on the May bank holiday weekend. The hotel was in a very central location, near to Pigalle metro station, moulin rouge and many restaurants and bars. The room was small, but had everything required for a 2 night stay, lovely shower room and cleaned daily. As per... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay. We found the hotel to be clean and very smart. All the staff we're very helpful which helped to make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel is in a side street with lots of bars and cafés nearby. Although it is pretty close to the red light district, this was never... More

My partner and I stayed here for a short break, my first trip to paris. We stayed in room 306 and it was very nice. It was clean and modern, it was a bit on the small side but comfortable because if you are going to paris, you're not going to sit in a hotel room but going for this... More

If your looking for a simple and basic place to stay, this hotel is good. It's nothing fancy and the rooms are small, but you have to be happy with that, given the price. Breakfast is fresh and simple, croissants and other baked treats, cereal and tea/coffee. Bathrooms are clean. We had a beautiful terrace style window in our room... More

3 adults stayed here. It is in an ideal location for the Metro Pigalle, only 8 stops on one line to L'Arc De Triumphe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast basic but very fresh and the bread was delicious. The lift is antiquated but working. Only 3 people at a time or 2 with cases. The room... More

Great location, very central hotel near pigalle, very safe place to walk after dinner. Many shops and restaurants near by. It's no luxury, but the rooms are fine, as well as the breakfast. The metro is just two blocks away.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
