My friend and I stayed there few weeks before Christmas. We chose the hotel for its good location and indeed it was. The welcoming was not so warm. We arrived at night around 23.00 and there was a young guy that wasn't even smiling when we entered the room, as if we interrupted him. he didn't helped us with the... More

Recently stayed here and found this hotel to be in the middle of all of the hype. Very close to train stations and surrounded by all different types of restaurants to suit any taste. The hotel reception is currently under refurbishment but the rooms are all done out very nicely and this did not cause us any issues at all.... More

The hotel was horrible, the reception area is a mess at the moment with renovation going on. The staff was very unpleasant and not helpful at all. They didnt make the extra effort for the residents. I had asked for a superior room in my booking but got a tiny room. When we asked to change, he said i should... More

I stayed here for work for a total of six nights. My Chanel shoes were stolen out of my room. I told the front desk about this and they did nothing about it! They didn't even offer a single accommodation or apologize. To make matters worse, the smell of the room was awful and the picture of the rooms make... More

This hotel is situated in a good location which near 2 metro stations and within 10 minutes walk to Galleries Lafayette. Many dining outlets and supermarket nearby hotel. The room is too small but it's well decorated with nice renovated bathroom. Wifi worked well during my stay.

Stayed here during a work trip. Hotel was very well positioned in a relation to Gare Du Nord ( I walked to the hotel from the station ~15-20 mins). Plenty of bakeries, restaurants and small supermarkets near by. Walking distance to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores. I had booked a standard room, but I guess I was given an... Wasn't expecting the greatest when booking the hotel. And when walking down from the metro early morning was expecting the worse. However found it was a great location with many shops, restaurants and accessible metro stations in the vasinity. Hotel currently having refurbishments so when first walking in makes you think it's not going to be great. However was welcomed... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2014

Me and my friend stayed here for three nights this August and found it to be quite pleasant. The hotel lobby doesn't appear to be 'renovated' yet as the room was, and certainly the loo near the lobby is slightly worrying in condition! However, the staff are very polite, helpful and speak very good English. When we got up to... More

A very nice newly renovated hotel, really a great value for money. Rooms are very clean and cosy, everything works well (air conditioning, fast free wifi, nespresso coffee machine, good sound isolation). Shower is super clean. Rooms are rather small, but not tiny, and it's usual in Paris. Staff are friendly and speak English. Room service comes after 1pm, so they... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
