My14 year old daugther and I stayed here on a short break for her half term. We picked this hotel because a friend was staying there and we wanted to be together. The only great thing about this hotel is the location it is literally a stone throw away from L'Opera and Gallerie Lafayette we even walked to the Champs-Élysées... More

Spent two nights at this hotel while visiting famous landmarks and attractions. Superb central location for walking around Paris, also very close to Metro, Opera House and next to the stunning department store 'Galeries Lafayette'. Small pleasant reception area, staff friendly and the hotel does have a lift but it was the tiniest I have every been in! The hotel... More

Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Pleasantly surprised by its location, friendly reception staff, and a nice breakfast. Rooms are modern with free wifi, impeccable house keeping, free cookies and muffins replenished daily to accompany your favourite cup of coffee (espresso mix) or tea if you like. Breakfast included hot scrambles eggs and some meat, cold cuts, one type of... More

the only positive about this hotel was the location, just next to galleries lafayette and across the road is the stop for the ho-ho bus which took us around paris on the first day......but hotel has tiny rooms even tinier toilets..............there are some decent cafes, restuarants out on the street and a tesco next door............very close to the subway and... Reasonably priced clean hotel in great location. Bus to airport a five minute walk. Close to Metro, Opera House and if you like shopping best area. Friendly helpful staff. Only downside a little noisy in daytime but I imagine that is common for Paris. We slept through with no problem after eating at fantastic restaurant next door.

Very tired hotel. Website states all rooms have a balcony. Wrong.. My room overlooked a dirty courtyard at the rear of the hotel. Single rooms very small and claustrophobic. DO NOT stay in room 648. Even if you were a size 0, you would have trouble fitting into the shower cubicle. When I say the door only opens about 6... More

We booked a triple room for 5 nights and asked for a room on a higher floor for our holiday in Paris. We got a corner room on the 6th (highest) floor with a balcony. The room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. We hardly heard any rumbling from the metro or any other noises. (We were worried before.)... More

I chose this hotel because of its location near the Roissy bus stop for CDG and for Galleries Lafayette. Perfect for both. Friendly staff speaking English if required. Clean comfortable room with excellent bed and French doors with Juliet balcony overlooking quiet street at side of hotel. A bit of rumbling from the Metro but not enough to disturb one's... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
